Neferet stormed into the classroom, her black floaty dress twinkling behind her. As any students in the classroom would probably have noticed; Neferet was not in a good mood. She hated teaching, especially with those stupid students running around and trying to make her life a misery. What did they call themselves? The Brat Pack. She sure hoped that she wouldn't have to teach any of them today, or ever.
She fumbled around the books that were scattered around the room. She was sure that she'd put the correct text book on her desk earlier that day. She was sure that somebody had moved it, and she would bet that it was one of those blasted Brat Pack members.. Neferet groaned in frustration, and swept her arm across the bookshelf, knocking all of the books off it. She was making no progress, as she couldn't find the text book anyway. She'd just have to teach the lesson from memory, or borrow the book off one of the students.
She straightened herself up, flattened out the bottom of her dress, and flicked a stray piece of hair out of her face.
"Hello, class," she said in a tone way too sweet to fit with her current mood. "I'm sure you all know who I am, since I'm your High Priestess, but for those of you who dozed off rather than listening to your mentors, I am Neferet." She wrote her name on the board in very neat, curly lettering. The sound of chalk against the board scraped through her ears, and she held back a shiver.
She turned around to face the class, locking eyes with each individual as she spoke. "Today I'll be teaching you about imprinting. You need to know everything about imprinting for your own safety, so if I detect that anyone in this class isn't paying full attention, you'll be spending the evening with me for the next two weeks for a private tutoring session. Do we all understand?"
She waited for a few moments for the class to respond, hoping that nobody would say anything. She really hated those students that had to make a remark about every little thing, and always asked questions. It would suit her much better if they just got on with it.
Neferet's cat, Skylar, was sat on her desk, looking at her with wide eyes. She wasn't communicating with Neferet in any way, so she guessed that the cat just wanted to sit with Neferet during the class. She reached out a set of long, black painted nails to run her hand from the cat's head, right down to the tip of its tail. Skylar purred, and arched her head back under Neferet's touch. She'd somewhat calmed down after touching Skylar (an effect that the cat often had on her), and actually smiled at the class.
"So, can anybody tell me what imprint is?" she asked, and looked expectantly out at the class. If somebody gave her the wrong answer, she would be very annoyed. They should all know what it was from reading their books. It was unlikely that any of them had actually touched their books, other than the nerds of the class, and surely there were a few nerds.

Riley sat at her desk and waited for Nefert to come in. When she did Riley could tell she wasint in a very good mood. She jumped as Nefert knocked all the books off of the shelf, she shrank down in her seat. Riley raised her hand slightly, "An imprint is when a Vampyre or Fledgling drink the blood of a human, it leaves an emotional mark on both Vampyre and human. It is stronger when they have emotional ties before the Vampyre/Fledging was Marked, age, sexual orientation and frequency of the blood drinking" She said in a small voice, hopeing Nefert wouldint get made at her nerdyness.

Olivia slumped back in her seat, always exhausted after she went to Equestrian class. She loved her Horsemanship class, and so that was the one she went to on a regular basis. That was the reason why about 75% of the time, she showed up to this one, Sociology. It was in the block right after her Beginning Horseback class, and so she felt more inclined to show up, since she was already out of bed. However, it wasn't something she enjoyed doing, given who was the teacher.
Livi felt a low growl bubble in the back of her throat, and she suppressed it quickly, as Neferet walked through the door, and threw everything on the ground, obviously pissed. As if anyone cared what the hell her problem was, but she'd certainly make it all of their problems.
When she'd finally addressed them, Neferet seemed like the nice, caring person she'd pretended to be before the entire Kalona thing happened, and she watched a girl take a leap of faith and answer the question that had been posed to the class. Livi sighed, and flipped open her text book, then opened a notebook, and drew little pictures of cats, and wings, and other forms of doodling, to make the time go by faster.
