Sooo... I figured out recently that my crazy Miyuki has gone through too much in her life and she can't handle much of anything else anyone tries to throw at her. I pushed her to her breaking point, so if I wanna keep her, I have to fix her.
So very soon, Miyuki is going to suffer from amnesia. This amnesia will NEVER go away and she will NEVER regain her memories. Because she is not allowed to. Because if she ever did, it would have made the amnesia do more harm than good. The most I will allow is for things to seem familiar at the most. She will never be able to figure out why, but the things that mattered and meant the most to her will seem very familiar. Her likes, as per her most of her personality will remain the same, she just will officially not know anyone anymore, let alone remember anything. If you meant the world to her, you will seem very familiar at the most. If she hated you with every fiber of her being, she will feel like she shouldn't trust you.
I haven't yet decided what kind of accident is going to bring on the amnesia, but she will either loose her cellphone before or during the accident. She won't remember enough about herself to know her own name, let alone much else. I'm not sure, but there is a chance she will have to re-learn how to speak english in order to communicate, since Japanese was the language she was born and raised speaking.
Since a lot of people have characters that at the very least, know my killer doll, I thought I should put this up. Threads so far and that are started before I have decided the accident will stay as are, so she will have all her memories in them, but anything after, including all plottage for her, is null and void. That includes her trip to Japan. It's not happening because I can't risk her sanity like that. I would have loved to, but she officially can not take the hit. It would most likely bring back most of her memories and I just can't have that.
The characters that will seem familiar to her are: Mayumi, Colby, Andettan, (who will seem highly familiar.) Cris, Justin, Astraea, Red, and Sephora. ( I can't put Lightning and Cloud on this list because I don't think she's known either of them long enough, and Aqune won't be around anyways, so she's not on the list either)
The characters who she will feel like she shouldn't trust are: Solana, Kalona and Neferet.
As soon as I figure out how the accident is going to happen, I'll have an aftermath thread of it up. If anyone has an idea of how it should happen, I'd love to hear it. If someone thinks I shouldn't go through with this and should allow her to carry on as she's been and go through with the plans in store for her, feel free to let me know, but if so, I hope you can give me good reasoning not to and a better suggestion of how to save the sanity of one of my favorite characters.
