Well, we all know that the Dark Daughters and Sons are a central part of the House of Night and it's inner workings. The Leader of the Dark Daughters often goes on to being the High Priestess. They often are a needed part of the community. The best and the brightest are accepted among their ranks and are often in charge of the montly rights to Nyx.
