Raine had to laugh. It was time for the momentous meeting! Between her best friend and her…boyfriend? Maybe? She wasn’t sure. What could she call him? She just didn’t know. She wanted to call him her boyfriend…but she had to go over that again with him. Because they hadn’t gone over it yet in the first point. They had to do that. Soon. But first…he had to meet her roommate and best friend. Because if Sephy didn’t like him the point was slightly moot…right? Not because Seph decided who she talked to or who she hung out with. It was more like the fact that if Sephy didn’t like someone…she’d make a point to make sure that their life was hell. Or ended at the point of her epee. It was just best to make sure Sephy liked him. She was happily getting dressed in their room, making a point to stay in her own head and make sure to get herself straight. She didn’t need to focus on what Sephy was doing, she’d start over thinking and giggling.
It was a nervous habit with her.
She slipped into something easy, something she could run off to dance in later. Just sweats and just a loose tank top. Nothing special. Just her dance style of clothing. And then she slid on her leather jacket over her tank top. It was her mothers, it was so special to her. And that was the only piece of clothing in her entire wardrobe that she actually cared about. Anything else she could easily replace, she had the money too. Speaking of…she should eventually tell Seph about this. Eventually. Not today.
She whirled around to face her roommate and best friend. ”Sephy, ready to goooo?” she asked with a giggle. She was two parts nervous, one part excited. She knew Seph would like him. Seph had to like him…right? He wasn’t like all the other boys that she just…slept with a time or two. He was something different! He had to be. She liked him too much. And than she walked over to her best friend, took both of Seph’s more calloused hands in her own and tugged a little, looking up at sapphire blue with her own storm colored. ”Pleeeease be nice Sephy? Leave the epee sheathed?” She begged with her eyes and her face and her whole being, pleading with her best friend to behave and not ruin what she almost had.
Not that Seph would do that for no good reason. Seph always just looked out of her. She liked to make sure Raine was safe, which was good because…Raine rarely got into thinking about that much. But she knew Easton was good for her. He had to be right? She hadn’t been this happy in the longest time…he made her happy. That was why she was begging Seph to not kill him. She liked him very much so alive. Although, Seph could very easily scare him off. Very easily. Sephy was pointy.
She took hold of Seph’s hand. She was just happy she had gotten Seph to agree to Easton doing her tat for her. It was the perfect reason for the two of them to meet! Right? Raine thought so at least. And she would just oh so conveniently slip out after introducing the pair because they didn’t need her there, not at all. She had dance anyway! In an hour. Hehe but they didn’t need to know that little fact at all. She would keep that little fact to herself.
Raine tugged Sephora all the way over to the boys dorms. She was ignoring the grumbling coming from her reluctant roommate all the way there. She could grumble all she wanted, Raine was still getting her way! That was all that mattered to Raine at this point. Because right now, in her life, Sephora and Easton were the two most important people in her life. She wanted…no…needed them to get along. And she was determined to make it so.
Because she was Raine. She’d babble their ears off until they saw it her way! Knowing Raine…no one should doubt this at all.
She knocked on Easton’s door, still keeping hold of Seph’s hand as if she was afraid that the other girl would bolt if she let go for even a second. Because she so was. She knocked again with a little giggle. ”Easton…open up? Pretty please?” she called into the other room, waiting for the door to open. She was bouncing on the heels of her feet the entire time, waiting for the boy on the other end to open up and let them in!
