Xander was really tired, it wasn't even just a physical tired, he was mentally tired as well. He just felt like everything was weighing down on him and there was absolutely nothing that he could do about it...and it fucking sucked.
He was sitting on the edge of his bed, the sun was rising slowly so in a minute he was going to have get up and close his curtains so that he didn't burn. Being that he was Red that meant that he couldn't go out into the sun without burning up, which if you asked Xander was a really bad way to go. Not really the point though.
He stood stretching a bit the muscles in his body aching from the workout he had a bit before he came back to his room to go to bed, he frowned the bad part of working out was the soreness that came with it but he was used to it by now with his vast use of martial arts. It was his affinity after all. He pulled the curtains closed so that his room was now shrouded in darkness and it didn't bother him one bit he could see just as well as he could when it was much lighter, just another perk, so why was it then that he felt perkless? Like this was just not enough for him right now...
He sighed and sat down on the bed hearing it creak and then just running a hand through his soft dark brown hair. He felt like he was at a standstill in his life. He still had no idea if he had a family or anything and the school was still in Peril from stupid Kalona...and then there was Ash of course.
He smiled a little bit as he thought about her, He really liked her she was so sweet and she was such a mystery to him still. Ever since that day when she had knocked him over in the woods he had been completely captivated by her. She was just so...interesting and he couldn't figure her out which was probably another problem becausem of the fact that he never knew where she was or when he would see her again because she never told him. He couldn't tell if she really liked him too or whether she was just stringing him along.
Not that he thought she would string him along, because he thought she was way too sweet to ever do anything like that to him. She was wonderful and sweet and always wore white which he thought was a little weird but everyone was entitled to their favorite color right?
He pulled back his covers and then pulled them over himself and closed his eyes as he tried to just drown out all thought and go to sleep which was usually very easy for him but there was so much on his mind right now that it wasn't that easy...he sighed and started counting backwards...10...9...8...7....6....5...4...3...2...
Xander was dreaming, not that he knew that but still. He was sitting in the sand in his favorite Karate GI and staring at the dog tags in his fingers. These were the dog tags that he had been found so long ago before he went The Galloway orphanage. He sighed a bit as he looked around at the clear blue water in front of him. This beach was of white sand, Xander often thought about what it would be like to live in some place tropical so his dreams often had something to do with them. He stood his bare feet mushing deeply into the sand and he smiled, he liked sand.
He took the dog tags and walked over to the waters edge, he kept these dog tags with him all these years in hopes that some day they would help him find his parents. All they had ever given him was heartache though as he thought about what could of been... He got mad and pulled back his arm ready to throw them into the water when he heard someone in the sand, he didn't turn his head he figured whoever it was would come to him. He was a lot more relaxed in his dreams.
