Seph was pretty sure that she was dreaming, that was the only rational explanation wasn't it? It was the only thing that made sense at all. It was the only thing that could be possible because there was absolutely no way that this could be real. At least that was what she told herself as she looked at the crazed psychopath who looked like he was ready to kill her and her friends. All of her friends had the same expression as she did on their faces, bemused and just completely scared though Seph was trying to hide her fear as best as she could.
Who did these kind of things? Seph had never seen anything like this in her entire life. You see crap like this all the time, in movies and T.V. and even in the news you would see that some person got arrested for killing a whole bunch of people and then got put away for the rest of their life and they even had Kalona around, and Seph was not scared of him in the slightest, but she never had come across anything like this and for the life of her she didn't understand why this was happening to her and her friends and she pissed as fuck about it.
Everyone was freaking and lashing out at him. Him and his freaky little minion woman what ever she was to him, Seph really didn't care honestly. She just wanted to figure out how the hell she was going to get out of this, get her and her friends out of this.
Julian here didn't seem to care about any of them really. All he cared about was Raea and having her get them through their fears and crap and if they didn't that was when they all would die. He wasn't going to take no for an answer, he wasn't going to let them hurt him and run Seph realized as they stood there, Lightning was just as pissed as she was and she was showing it with her affinity and the minion tried coming at her But the Douche bag stopped her and Seph moved over to Lightning.
"Look stand down we are going to have to find a different way out of here that would involve hurting him on the way out because we aren't getting out of here like this"she whispered, Seph was realizing the inevitable she was realizing that they were going to have to play this game but they were just going to have to win.
She nodded to herself and moved over back to where she had been standing and just looked at Julian with the biggest distaste on her face. She was fine, she was not going to let this mother fucker break her or her friends. She was going to get through this game and so were her friends and then this would all be over.
Seph watched as he friends tried to rationalize this away, as they tried to say what if they wouldn't play and Seph shook her head looked down at the black carpet and then she heard the steps and her head snapped up when she saw someone coming down the stairs. Her breath caught right in her throat when she saw who it was. Darius, it was Seth's best friend, all the time when she spent time in Seth's room she would see him come in and out but she never thought that he would be....
Seph shook her head and took a step forward "Darius?"she could barely breath right now. What if he had done something to Seth? Was her hurt or killed? They already had kidnapped Pride to get to Raea...Seph gulped and looked at Julian and mentally swore to herself that she was going to kill this son of a bitch if it was the last thing that she ever did.
She gritted her teeth and looked up at him with cold determination as if to say no matter what he did she was going to make sure they won this tonight.. "What do we have to do asshole?"she couldn't help that little comment there, she was just too pissed off to not comment, one thing was for sure though, she was going to make sure they were the victors tonight.

Things weren't going well.
In fact, they were going pretty shit.
The feral girl that Lightning had insulted with such confidence mere seconds before pounced forwards with a fearful grace that only the undead could ever hope to achieve, and it only took a few words for Lightning to snap back into reality.
Truth was, she wasn't a fighter.
And bullshitting her way out of a crappy situation such as this one could only do so much.
Seph moved closer to her, and whispered a few word that Lightning had to strain to hear. "Look stand down we are going to have to find a different way out of here that would involve hurting him on the way out because we aren't getting out of here like this." Lightning struggled to resist shouting out a defiant answer, saying that they could easily handle these two pieces of shit. But Sephora was right. Of course she was. When was she ever not?
The electricity that circled her fingertips suddenly disappeared with only wisps of smoke entwining into the air as evidence of its existence, leaving Lightning at loss, and drained of energy. Shit. Brows furrowed, Lightning tried and struggled to remain calm; the panic she felt threatening to betray her fake confidence. The room began to swirl, her mind taking a hit of exhaustion, and she silently cursed herself for using her affinity. Fuck. Fucking fuck. Fuck. She wasn't any use to the others any more; she was too weak to do any physical damage. Quickly glancing around, she figured that she was the most physically vulnerable right now in the room (with the exception of Pride of course). But still, Lightning Strife wasn't one to give up easily, and she refused to back down. Instead of retreating, she widened her stance to give her more stability, all of her concentration on the girl mere centimetres away from where she was standing.
"Immie darling calm yourself, Miss Lightning here will not be harming me or yourself or anyone tonight. She will play the game as planned just like everyone else. Remember the rules."
Lightning snarled, breaking eye contact with Immie to glare maliciously at Julian. She absolutely detested it when people predicted her actions. When people assumed that she would do things according to their will. With another forced laugh that unfortunately failed to have the same amount of bitchiness as before, she rolled her eyes, her hand clutching onto her hip desperately, each movement breaking away the little amount of strength she had left.
"Fuck off. I told you i'm not going to play your shitty little motherfucking game, you cunt. Why don't you go fuck yourself and your fucking rules, before we do the deed ourselves." She sneered, knowing full well that her charade wasn't helping them get out of their situation.
But that was just like her, wasn't it?
Acting without care; dealing with the mess her actions caused only when she was forced to.
Selfish, really.
But hopefully she could make up for it by putting their lives before hers.
Justin and Red both then spoke, deciding to use their brains rather than act on impulse as Lightning did; attacking in a slyer manner than herself, careful not to provoke Julian enough to start a fight, but enough to get a reaction. Clever. Something that Lightning would never have done. It just wasn't her style.
Her ears twitched slightly as she could make out the sound of footsteps, and as another feral red that Seph seemed to know appeared into the room, Lightning growled. Fuck. How many feral fledglings did Julian fucking have? The chances of them escaping were getting slimmer by the minute, which put her on edge. This wasn't how it was supposed to be. They were the fucking Brat Pack! Somehow get into a risky situation, a little bullshit and fighting, and that would be the end of it; they'd all walk out with minimal damage. So why was this going wrong?
"Darling...you will have no choice but to play back. When you are facing what scares you the most, you don't just stand there...Now then...Are we ready to begin?"
Julian's response to Red earned another hiss from Lightning. There was no hope in saying no, we don't want to play, any more. The only option they had was to just get through this as quickly as they could. As the truth dawned on Lightning, she grit her teeth in anger, hating the fact that she was powerless. She still felt weak from the sudden burst of energy she had earlier, and she knew that there was no point in lurching forward to hit Julian in the fucking face if she didn't want to get bitten from either one of the feral two.
Lightning sighed.
"Fine." Her blue eyes flickered warily to Immie, before taking a step forward, bringing her closer to Julian. "I'll play your stupid fucking game. I'll play your fucking game, I'll win your fucking game, and then i'll fucking kill you. Slowly. She didn't bother to smirk, or put up an act. The words left her lips in a cool manner, as if they were cold, hard facts that were 100% going to happen no matter what,
"What do we have to do asshole?" Seph asked.
Lightning's gaze hardened as she prepared for what they were going to have to go through. Worst fears. The fuck.
She didn't even know what the fuck her worst fears were.
But that didn't matter.
Because he did. Words: 979 Muse: Poor. Poo. Notes: hahahahahhahahahahahaha no. Sorry.

Raea's brain stopped when she saw Pride like that. Nothing else mattered except getting everybody out!! She was out of ideas. She tried to convince herself this was a dream, but when Justin whispered into her ear that she had to be strong and not even acknowledge that her love was completely and utterly broken in more ways than one (and certainly not only physically broken)...well she wondered if she could do it.
Act it yes, but would it be enough?
She nodded slightly to Justin and wiped her eyes, not caring if her makeup was completely ruined. Honestly Raea wanted to look as ugly as possible for that dick standing in front of them all. He was smug. She didn't like that. Even if he wanted her she'd find a way to get out of here if she lost. And if it meant death she'd take it.
Astraea listened to him talk, still saying that it was all up to her and she had to help them all get through this game. He wasn't taking no for an answer. He just stood there knowing they'd all agree to the game. Red apparently already did. Raea glanced over to Pride and regretted it instantly. Tears welled up in her eyes. He always protected her, kept her safe. She felt the guilt well up inside her again as Julian's words sunk in.
The fledgling had a feeling that no matter what happened in this game she wasn't going to shake the guilt. If she lost she'd feel guilty for letting her friends down. If she won she'd feel guilty for getting them into this mess in the first place! She felt so...conflicted, and yet not. Her mind was torn on what to do, fight or play along, and yet it knew that it had to play this game to stay alive. Raea wondered why the vampyres didn't come and stop this, they knew everything, usually. She guessed because the "Game Leader" was a black fledgling, they let it slide, fearing Kalona would come after them.
For a brief moment she wondered if Kalona put it up to Julian to do this. If Raea lost that meant most of the BP would be gone, leaving only the Twins. The school would be easier to keep tabs on, no pranks interrupting them, no more kids in detention...
And no more "rebel groups".
She closed her eyes and tried to get all of this in order, ignoring the Kalona detail that her mind created; the game was for her to win. She had to help all her friends and get them all out alive, keeping an eye out for two goons he apparently had. She wanted to hurt him, but more importantly, she wanted her friends to think they'd be getting out of here alive.
So she did what she was known for in the Brat Pack. Be their Oracle. She faked a vision, she made her breathing hitch in her throat, her eyes go "blank" as she stared at a part of the floor, she made sure not to stay in it for too long. She blinked and "came out of her trance". She looked at Red and her eyes quickly plead to the girl not to reveal her lie. She whispered to her friends, even though Julian most likely overheard her, "Guys....we'll be alright, I know we will be..."
Seph directed her attention to someone who entered the room. A red fledgling named Darius. Why would he be here? Raea didn't see why he was here unless he was one of Julian's goons, Raea looked to her fearless leader and saw her gulp.
Uh oh.
She looked at Julian and thought long and hard about the game. Finally she nodded, her eyes cold. "I'll play your game, I'll get us all out of here alive. And if I fail then you kill me too because I am not your prize darling." The last word slid through her lips like venom, using his favorite word of the evening.
Damn prick was going to regret kidnapping the Brat Pack.

There was only a tiny shred of sanity, the one that was connected to Julian because he had brought her back from entirely losing her mind when she had died and turned red, that was holding her back. In all honesty, the tiny red fledgling wanted to leap forward, tear out this girl’s throat and dance in her blood until the sky mimicked the color and she would have to go to bed, yes yes she did. She wanted it so badly she could feel the need pushing her farther over the edge, her grip on her sanity becoming slippery. She hated so so much when people got in her personal bubble, yes, yes she did. When people were in her personal bubble it was because she had brought them there.
Not because they thought they could invade in themselves.
It wasn’t acceptable, no, no it wasn’t. She wasn’t allowed to kill any of them yet though, even though the threatening growl that sounded more like it came from a wolf or a dog than a little French girl was still rumbling in her throat. It was low and soft, which was more dangerous. She wasn’t making a show of it, she was just barely restraining herself. She spoke and said the truth, she wasn’t allowed to kill her yet but she desperately wanted to right that moment.
Her head snapped up at the sound of Julian’s voice. The one that, as much as he frustrated her, was keeping her sane, and she felt her grip on her sanity strengthen a little, just a small bit. Julian spoke sweetly, as opposed to the usual ice, and the tone was soothing to her for reasons she didn’t know. He said to remember the rules. Yes, yes, she remembered the rules. She did, she did. Plus, Lightning, the annoying one who was in her space, had dropped the eye contact which had relaxed Immie enough that she stopped feeling like she was demanding dominance in her own territory. The drop also made her realize she was dominant here, not good for the little woman. Either way, she let out a breath that was heavy and plopped herself down just as heavily on Pretty Boy—Pride…the name made her giggle again—right on his legs again. His muffled scream made her giggle like an insane child which served only to slide her right back into her good mood.
Insanity often meant mood swings.
Julian addressing the innocent child immediately made Immie’s red as blood and violence eyes swing to look at the soft innocent one. Innocent ones were always so soft. It was disgusting. Her lip curled at the thought, utterly disgusted by this girl who thought she could beat them and get out of playing the game. There was no getting out. You played, that was the end of the story. You could fight it all you want but then you ended up right back in it, it was the only way out. That or Immie. The thought made her giggle. She turned to the Pretty Boy and laced her fingers in his long hair painfully but he didn’t wince, this was nothing compared to what she’d done before. She yanked him to her so she could whisper in his ear. ”I promise when I kill her, I’ll let her know how you moaned when I bit you first” she said with a sadistic little giggle before licking go of his neck and letting go of his hair. She felt him shudder with the guilt of the truth and felt him pull away from her quickly.
Innocent boys were so easy to play with.
She giggled madly but then focused back on the people talking. She had to stop zoning out all the time! It meant she missed all the good stuff like the players declaring that they would get out of it and being all brave and pretending they could fight back. She would wait a few hours before they were freaking out and dropping like flies. Usually at her hands. She liked having blood on her hands. She giggled. She would be stuck in her room most of this game sadly, but only because she hadn’t killed the boyfriend this time. She would have to watch him. He wasn’t looking forward to that.
But then Julian hinted he was ready to begin! She clapped happily, it was a slightly wet sound with the blood on her hands but it was also a very happy sound. Immie giggled, again forgetting that Julian had asked her to be quiet and stop giggling earlier. She was too happy! And plus, this was where she came in handy. It was time for her affinity to come into play. And then Darius came down too! She giggled wickedly and hopped up to hug the shirtless man, even though she knew that he wouldn’t approve of it. She was just so happy! She couldn’t help the silly things that she did when she was happy! Besides, it was a quick hug.
She saw the surprise flit onto the face of one woman, the one everyone considered their leader woman—Immie had read the files after all, she just had chose not to remember anyone’s name. Oh yes, yes. Immie knew what was planned there! And she couldn’t help but giggle all over again. Julian didn’t like one of his minions, his snake of course, to be mooning over some woman, no, no he didn’t. So he had made sure to plot this to include that too! The snake and the leader woman would meet when he deemed it so though, Immie was supposed to be quiet about that. Like a nut, and not realize that she was doing it on the outside world, she zipped her lips before walking over to Julian without skipping. No, instead she walked like the predator she was.
The anticipation of the games always brought out more of the sadist in her, it displaced the insanity a little. Just a little.
And then the innocent one agreed to play the game, and Immie knew that they were set to go! Yes, yes they were! She giggled and turned towards Julian. ”My tuuuurn” she sing-songed with her seriously thick French accent that she had been hiding before—except for when she ahd spoken in French of course—and tugged Julian towards her without really tugging. She knew better than to tug her “boss” and partner.
But she did tug when she tugged him down to her tiny form and pressed her lips to his. It wasn’t a kiss as much a way to get him to open his damn mouth to her open mouth. In fact, even people who had never seen them before would know that this was not a kiss. It would, in fact, be slightly painful for him. She was after all tugging out a piece of him—his affinity—and pulling it into herself. And there she swelled it, larger, larger. It had to be bigger! She frowned, pulling away to concentrate and she small sheen of sweat covered her skin, her breathing getting heavier. She was making it bigger than she ever had before. It was dragging at her…she was almost at her limit…she needed to…with a frantic little noise she pressed her lips back to his and shoved it back to him, nearly three or four times stronger than it had been before she had taken it.
This was why Julian kept her around. She could make his affinity so much stronger. She could allow these people to see their worse fears and interact with them rather than them just being illusions. No, they would be real. And if they died in their fear…well then that was too bad wasn’t it?
He took her affinity with him though, it was wrapped up in his for the next twenty four hours while it kept his strong as she had swelled it. She staggered back slightly, feeling light headed and even more feral than she had moments ago. She was missing something. She whined softly and held her head. It always felt so bad, so bad when she did that. Ow. Headache. She whined again and whirled around to reach out blindly until she found the goblet that had been set there for this purpose. She drained the warm contents that had been emptied from some poor girl less than an hour before and felt her headache settle a little. All the same she leaned back against the wall and drained another. There were three more. She would need all three to keep her sanity after draining her affinity like that.
But this meant she could watch the Game start! She giggled madly and took her third goblet, nursing this one a little while she watched. She may need someone to carry her and Pretty Boy out of here later. But it had been worth it. These silly people didn’t know what they were up against, what she had just allowed to happen. She muttered in sing song, licking the blood from her lips. ”Doomed, doomed, doomed…such fun, such fun”
