It was a rainy day, thus it wasn’t surprising that there weren’t all that many people floating around the House. Daze preferred these days, when there was no one to bother him and he could meditate on his thoughts. With his temper, it was so rare that he received these moments to simply relax. Perhaps this was why he had such a temper? No…no that wasn’t true, Daze knew better than that. He was smarter than that. He was bloody brilliant, no reason to deny that or stunt his intellect by assuming such things. He knew why he had a temper. He had always had a temper, even when he could relax all the time.
Looking out the window, out into the world, that was when Daze realized how quiet it was out there. It was perfect for him. So, he slipped a black wife beater tank-shirt over his head, pulled on some jeans, and followed this all by his shoes. He could wear something classier, often he did in fact, but it was a lazy day so why bother with such things? He was going to relax, not stalk new prey or dazzle some poor girl. Not that both weren’t the same thing of course.
Then, popping his headphones into his ear, he left his room. He was unbothered by the cold, being a red he was going to take advantage of that aspect of what he was. Classical music, not what one usually expected from a boy who looked as he did, blasted into his ears, the soothing melodies further calming him. He knew where he was headed though, it was the perfect little place for him and he intended to take advantage of it.
Even with his music loud in his ears, however, Daze still paid constant attention to the world that was around him. He hadn’t made it this far as a red for nothing of course. He may look like he was paying no attention to the world around him, but he was good at illusions. He was good at tricking people. It was what he did in order to get what he wanted from the world and from the people in it. Of course, his affinity also helped to serve this cause quite well. He wasn’t going to deny it, he loved his affinity, even if it did make him slightly lose his mind after he used it. He could deal with the consequences for the power it brought him.
Oh, but his dear Sylvie…Daze paused for a moment…just a moment…but it was enough to disturb his calm just for that moment. He hadn’t meant to hurt her, hadn’t meant to kill her. But, that was in the past. He hadn’t meant to kill his baby sister, he knew that, and he knew she did as well. Otherwise, she would have haunted him or some nonsense like that, so that meant she knew he hadn’t meant to hurt her that way. He hadn’t. He pushed the thought from his mind, not far however. He never let himself forget what he had done to Sylvie. But he also never kept it in the front of his mind. He didn’t want to actively think about it.
Daze had made his way through the forest and was picking his way through a familiar path. It wasn’t one that anyone else could see. It wasn’t worn down into the floors of the forest like other paths seemed to be. He was the only one, as far as he knew, that used it. The only one that could decipher why certain stones sat where they did, as far as he knew. This was the path to his secret place, the place where he could truly relax and let go of the constant anger that was on the edges of his mind. That was why he did what he did. That was why he was so cruel.
He knew it at least.
Soon his steps took him to the edge of the river, one that lazily babbled along, fed by the drizzle that was slowly falling. Though, he was sheltered from that water for now by the leaves of the trees. He shook his head and lost himself to meditation, watching the water flow by his eyes and letting go of the anger for just a moment. It could always snap back so quickly though, without a hesitation. This was showcased by the snapping twig behind him bringing him from his thoughts entirely. He growled and turned to face the offending noise. ”Who is there?” he demanded of the forest. He wouldn’t play around either.

'It's your fault. He killed himself because of you. You don't deserve to live.''Now now. It wasn't her fault that she drove her brother to suicide. She didn't mean to kill her twin.' 'Guys. Leave her alone. He's back, isn't he? No damage done.' Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Lightning slid down the wall of her shower, bringing her knees up to her chest and draping her arms around them in a protective manner. As she rested her face on the tops of her knees, she closed her eyes, attempting to drown out the voices in her head. Attempting, and failing. They had just suddenly come up from nowhere, and now she didn't know how to get rid of them. To tell the truth, they scared her. The things they said; it was all true. The things that they told her to do, it all made sense. She didn't really know what was stopping her from taking their advice, but there was just something in the back of her head that advised her not to. It was a small, but it was also still there. To tell the truth, the voices were why she had taken up drugs and drinking. It took them away. Not completely, but enough so that she could finally concentrate again.
The droplets of water that showered down from the shower splashed onto her shoulders, her hair clinging to her neck and shoulders. As one droplet landed on her cheek, she flinched, but made no movement to wipe it away. Lightning didn't really like water. It didn't go well with her affinity, and she found that she always had to be extra careful when around water or certain types of metal. It was annoying, to say the least.
The blue fledgling sighed, before running a hand through her wet hair, sending flicks of water everywhere. It was one of those rare moments where Lightning was actually sober. These days, being sober meant for a shitty day where she would snap at everybody. Also, being sober meant that the voices were louder than usual. Consequently, Lightning was hardly ever sober.
She lifted her head, leaning against the cold, tiled wall of her shower, her eyes still closed. How long had she been in there? Fuck knows. Lightning knew that she should probably get out, but she didn't want to. Getting out meant having to move, and movement seemed like a really bad idea to her right now. Screw that. Everything seemed like a bad idea right now. 'Of course it does. All the more reason why you should just die.'"Shut. Up." Lightning scowled and gripped her head, the non-stop chatter starting to get to her. She was finding it difficult to ignore the voices as the days went past, even when she was drowning herself in alcohol or drugs. Was she even hearing voices? Maybe it was all just a figment of her imagination. She didn't think she was crazy. So maybe it was. Perhaps she should tell someone, ask for advice..
'NO. No, Light. You shouldn't tell anyone. They're all against you; we're the only ones you can trust.' 'That's right. We're the only ones that care for you.' 'They all blame you. And they should. Murderer.''Just listen to us, we know what's best for you.' "Stop it! Just stop." She snarled at the soft murmurs inside her head, and with a grunt, she pushed herself up with effort, before climbing out of the shower. She wrapped a towel around her body, and tied her wet hair into a tight bun, before drying herself off. [/blockquote] 'You're nothing. All you do is bring bad shit to the people you apparently love.' 'She's right, you know. Maybe it's better for everyone, including yourself, if you just.. disappear. Poof. Gone.' Lightning shook her head. She walked towards the sink, and splashed some cold water onto her face, before staring into the mirror above the sink. "I don't want to go. I'm scared i'll be alone. I don't want to be alone." The young girl hugged herself, staring out of the corner of her eye at the razor lying on the edge of the shelf. It would be quick. Painless. It would be for the greater good, wouldn't it? Better for everyone. But she didn't want to be alone.
'You wouldn't be alone. You'd have us. We'll take care of you. You wouldn't be able to hurt us, like you did to your brother. Just take the razor, and do it. It's for the best. We're here for you.' 'They'd do it for you.' They would do it for her. So why wouldn't she do it for them? 'Because you're a selfish bitch, who only thinks for herself.'Lightning punched the mirror, wincing as some of the glass fragments cut into her skin. The momentary pain silenced the voices, but soon enough, they were back. Shouting in frustration, she grabbed hold of the ruined mirror and smashed it onto the floor. "ENOUGH. Just leave me alone!" She ran out of the bathroom, reaching towards the chest of drawers beside her bed. She yanked open the middle compartment, and digged through the contents, her movements frantic.
Fuck! Where the fuck were her pills?! Lightning slammed the drawer back in, and pulled open the rest, desperately searching for her drugs. "Shit. She cursed, after realising that she was out. Fuck no. She wasn't going to hear the voices speak to her all mother fucking day. It would drive her crazy! 'You already are.' Gritting her teeth, she hastily pulled on some underwear, and threw on a long top, before running out, barefoot. As she burst out of the girl dorms, she quickly made her way to the entrance gates, before realising that she didn't have any money. "FUCK. Fucking bitch. Shit. Motherfucking fuck. Fucker. Lightning let out a string of curses, before quickly changing directions towards the Enchanted Forest. She had found some magic mushrooms there earlier. Perhaps she'd strike lucky once again.
She ignored the brief spasms of pain on her feet as she ran across the concrete grounds, her mind determined on reaching the forest. She didn't really mind the pain all that much. Apparently, pain was another way of getting rid of the voices. But pain rarely lasted for long, and she didn't really like the thought of self harm. One of the voices snickered in her head, before insulting her courage. Instead of retorting back, she shook her head and forced herself to run faster.
Lightning breathed a sigh of relief as she saw the entrance of the forest, and she picked up her speed, tearing past the other students loitering around. The ground changed from concrete to earth, and the stones digging into her feet were replaced with twigs and dead leaves. She abruptly changed direction, before falling over the root of a tree, and she landed with a cat-like reflex, falling onto her hands and knees. She grimaced as she inspected her hands, wiping off some of the earth. Her skin was grazed, and as she watched, small droplets of blood appeared, which she wiped off onto her top. Lightning didn't bother to check her knees; she suspected that they were the same. Or worse. As she prepared to stand, something caught her eye, and she tilted her head, trying to make out what the small objects in front of her were. As she squinted, recognition suddenly hit her, and she smirked.
Magic mushrooms.
She crawled towards them, not really caring that she was getting her hands and knees dirty. After closer inspection, she agreed with the voices that they were indeed, magic mushroom. She picked them all up, before wiping them with her top, and plopped them all in her mouth, then chewed and swallowed.
With a sigh of relief, she rolled onto her back as the voices gradually quietened, and let out a small giggle. There hadn't been enough mushrooms for her to get properly high, but it was enough for the voices to go away. Looking to her side, she realised that there were more, and with a grin, she picked them all, before stuffing them into her bra. She would have them later. As she leaned back onto the earth, she looked up into the sky.
It was only then that she realised that it was raining.
Looking down on herself, she noticed that she wasn't wearing much. In fact, her top just covered her underpants, the hem of the top just reaching the top of her thighs. In her defence, she was in a hurry. The rain unnerved her, and she was getting annoyed at the fact that the rain had made the top slightly see through, and it clung to her body, showing her black underwear underneath. Oh, fuck it. No one was here, anyway.
She stayed like that for a few more minutes, before standing up. It was time to get back to her dorm room. Looking around, Lightning swore. She had no idea where she was. Fuck her life. As she stood, she looked down once again, and sighed. Wow. Her top really was too short. She looked behind her, and sighed once again. Her top just went past her ass. She was asking for trouble really, just standing here in a fucking see through top. She brushed a hand through her wet hair, annoyed, and began to walk, biting down on her lip.
Soon enough, she could hear the sound of a river, and she arched a brow. A river? Where the fuck was she? She kept on walking, wincing every now and then as her feet tread on a few twigs. The magic mushrooms were starting to take effect, and she blinked, the whole word starting to spin before her eyes.
”Who is there?”
A voice demanded, and for a moment, Lightning panicked. Fucker. Calm down. It wasn't one of her voices. No, this voice belonged to an actual person. She lent against a tree, the question sending a few sparks of annoyance to her mind. Fucking hell. She hated stupid questions. She hated questions in general. Well, questions about herself, anyway. What made people think that she was going to answer, anyway? Rolling her eyes, she tumbled out into a small opening, and her eyes took their time to focus on the male fledgling. Standing up straight, Lightning momentarily forgot about the shortness of her top, and the fact that he could probably see her underwear. She placed a hand on her hip, and arched a brow.
"What makes you think people would answer that. If i was someone that wanted to kill you, i wouldn't answer. I'd kill you in the time you were asking that stupid question." Lightning knew that she was acting strangely, but she didn't care.
Magic mushrooms tended to do that.
She clung onto the bark of a tree for support, before staring at the boy, the rain making it hard for her to see. It registered in her mind that she was lost, barely dressed, and with some dude she didn't know. If she was sober, she would have been shitting bricks. But the possibility of rape and past experiences were all too easily dismissed from her drugged mind, and instead, she tilted her head slightly to the right, as if that would make seeing easier. "Where the fuck am i? I have no idea where i am." She glared at him with slight accusation, as if her being lost was all his fault. "Please tell me that you know where we are. Otherwise, i will have to zap you. Words were just tumbling out of her mouth by now, and Lightning made no effort to stop them. She suddenly felt very relaxed, and felt as if nothing could possibly go wrong.
As she said that she'd zap the boy, she realised that it was raining. Which meant water. Everywhere. If she zapped him with her affinity, then she'd electrocute everything in this god damn place. Urgh.
Fucker.

The girl came out of the woods shortly after he called. She appeared disgruntled, not as if he cared much about this fact. She could be disgruntled all she liked, he was busy trying to relax and if she knew what was good for her, she’d leave. She also appeared to be under the influence of something or another, Daze couldn’t tell and he didn’t care enough to ask. All that mattered was she was out of it. He rolled his eyes a bit. He would rather if girls were under his influence personally, not the influence of some drug or another.
Not that it bothered him if it were both she were under. Dimly he debated about it. His debate wsa strengthened by the fact that she was only in a shirt, a shirt the rain was quickly making see-through. If that wasn’t an incentive, well he didn’t know what was. But perhaps…He shook his head, his thought process interrupted when the random ragamuffin actually spoke to him. Insulting little thing, wasn’t she? Seems his calm was disturbed…and he could feel his temper rifling through his mind in the back of his mind, almost like it was background music. Interesting comparison.
Kill him? Did she actually think a puny little thing like her could kill him? Fat chance. Even without his affinity he could take her easily, without breaking much of a sweat. But speaking of his affinity, why not use it a little? As long as he kept it small little doses it shouldn’t make him lose his mind too badly. He simply had to be careful about the amount he used it, just like any other drug that was out there. She was clinging to the tree anyway. But she was looking his way, so that meant he had the perfect opportunity to do what he did best.
He caught her eyes, and before him, he could see the strings that attached to her limbs, her head, her jaw, her feet, her hands…all of it. Taking hold of the ones in her arms and legs, not bothering with the hands or feet or her head…he did say it was small doses, perhaps. For now. He used his ability to make her delatch from the tree and move closer, just a step or two. Enough to make her wonder why she had done that when she had never meant to. Easy trick, and one that didn’t take much effort on his part. And then he let go of her strings, giving her back her body. Being that she was high, she may not even notice. Disappointing. ”I doubt you could kill me either way” he replied in a bored tone.
He wasn’t bored though. Her words, her defiance, her temper, had managed to spark his alive. He was keeping a careful eye on if for now, but he wouldn’t keep that up for long. After a short while he didn’t feel like bothering to. Why hold himself back? No one had ever given him a good enough answer to that. Not an answer that had made sense and didn’t involve the question of morals or light and dark. He knew he’d chose the dark eventually and make the change. He just wasn’t done having fun yet.
”Zap me? Another unlikely feat” He was thinking quickly at this point. Zap usually referred to lightning, which he assumed was her affinity. If she didn’t want to shock her wet self as well, he doubted she would zap him. Though, what did he knew of this girl? For all he knew she was in to that sort of thing. He wasn’t scared, however, Daze didn’t get scared. He got smart and found his way out. He was confident, this was very true. Perhaps this was his parent’s fault for acting like he could do no wrong as a child. Perhaps it was his own, true, personality.
Whichever way that the dice landed, his temper was wide awake and making him see red ever so slightly. Her cocky attitude and accusing tone would do that to a person. Plus, she was in his place. The place where he could relax away from the world. And he didn’t take kindly to that. ”But yes, I do know where we are” the Puppet Man answered. He hadn’t truly given her what she wanted to know, but like they said…knowledge always came with a cost.

For some fucked up reason, it was getting harder to see.
Lightning blew some of the strands of her hair out of her eyes with an air of annoyance that she didn't bother to conceal. The falling rain had managed to wet her recently dried hair back into wet strands that clung to her skin, and Lightning scowled, cursing softly under her breath for forgetting her hair band. Impatiently, she ran a hand through her hair, scraping her hair away from her face. Using the same hand, she made a roof of sorts above her eyes, in a poor attempt to shield her sight from the rain. After a few seconds of keeping this up, Lightning sighed, before dropping her hand, determining it useless. Instead, she made do with being half blind, giving up any attempts to get the rain out of her eyes.
However, the fact that she couldn't see properly put her in a worse mood than usual, and as she clung onto the tree, Lightning narrowed her eyes, her face set into a mask of annoyance. She dug her fingernails into the bark, gripping the tree firmly in order for her to stand up straight. She had no intentions of letting go. No intentions at all.
So why were her hands detaching themselves from the bark, and her legs taking a few steps forward? Did Lightning tell them to do that? Confused, she frowned, looking down at her feet, as if by staring hard enough, they'd magically be able to tell her why they'd moved all on their own. Lightning could swear on Nyx that she hadn't moved by her own will. But then again, what the fuck did she know? This was the girl that heard multiply voices in her head. This was the girl, that had conversations with what were basically different people in her own mind. Plus, Lightning had ate magic mushrooms. She was probably just acting like a retard, and had got herself to move, just.. forgot about it? Who the fuck knows. It didn't even matter.
Without the support of her tree, Lightning was much less stable, but something stopped her from walking back to hold onto the tree once again. Instead, she stood there, one hip cocked, a hand on that said hip, and all her concentration focused onto not falling over. All of a sudden, she felt a surge of.. freedom? It was hard to describe, but a feeling rushed into her body. It wasn't a huge rush, but she still felt it. Lightning shook her head before waving it off, dismissing it as a side effect from the magic mushrooms. It wasn't a nice feeling, and she shivered, trying to shake off the rush.
"I doubt you could kill me either way.”
She acknowledged his bored tone, and for some reason, this infuriated her. I mean, how the fuck could he be bored. How the fuck, did he have the audacity to be bored when Lightning was right in front of him?! In a basically non-existent shirt, too! The fucker. She'd prove to him that she wasn't boring. Yeah, Lightning would show him how to have a real good time.
For a brief moment, the image of Ty flashed in her mind, and she froze for a second. Oh shit. Ty. Forgot about him. Lightning crinkled her nose, puzzled about the predicament that she had landed herself into. He had to just creep into her mind like that, didn't he. Sly little fuck. Eying up the boy before her, she sighed, before waving off all thoughts of Ty. He'd deal with it. Anyway, it wasn't as if he didn't have any lady friends. And since when was harmless flirting a crime? It wasn't. So go suck on that, fuckers.
It was then that she registered what he'd said to her, and all thoughts of flirting vanished from her mind, and dark flickers of hatred barged their way in. The cockiness of his words pissed her off, and she arched a brow, tilting her head slightly upwards as if she was challenging him. "Oh, you'd be surprised. I, could easily kick your ass in more ways than one." She began, placing a hand on her chest, before pointing towards him in an elegant manner. "You shouldn't judge people by their appearance; it's a bad habit, dipshit." She finished off with an aggressive tone, snarling a little as she insulted the boy.
Her confidence in her fighting skills were of course, heightened by her recent drug taking, and deep down, Lighting knew she didn't really stand a chance. Strength wise, Lightning wasn't really the best. But she was fast and had agile reflexes which proves useful in some situations. And of course, her affinity. Which was pretty much useless right now. Stupid shit.
”Zap me? Another unlikely feat.” He continued his arrogant talk, and Lightning tilted her head slightly to the right, trying to figure out what the fuck was his problem. The frustrating thing, was that she knew that he was right. And he knew it. The bastard. How he did, was beyond her. However, Lightning wasn't going to let her pride fly out the window, so she took another step forward, smirking a little at him. "Oh, I'm pretty sure it's very likely. One touch, and you're a goner, sweetie." She smiled sweetly at him, before dropping the fake grin, giving him the classic bitch look. You know, the look where you sweep your eyes quickly from their feet to the top of their head? Yeah, Lightning was a pro at it. Seriously, her look rivaled those of Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl. So bitchy, it hurt.
”But yes, I do know where we are”
Lightning waited for a seconds, expecting him to carry on. When he failed to do so, she gave an exasperated sigh, before throwing her arms out into the air. "Yeah, and? Want to fucking care to fucking share? For fuck sake, are you mentally fucking retarded?" Her moods were erratically changing, and after the words slipped out of her mouth in a sharp hiss, she giggled, covering her mouth with her hands delicately. Smiling, she tilted her head again, looking at him with the gaze of a 10 year old. "Shall we go?" She asked, not really knowing where they were going to go. But oh fucking well. Did it really matter? No.
No it did not.

Daze looked over the girl for a moment. He had been trying to stay calm here by the water, water always managed to calm his ever present temper. However, this girl was disturbing his calm. She was pushing at his tenuous control of the fire that raged through him. However, he wasn’t sure he wanted to keep the reins on it. She seemed to be asking for him to go wild and hurt her. He would wait a few moments more, a few comments more, before he decided this. At any rate, he didn’t think it would be hard to mess with a girl who was just in a, now, see through white shirt. She was practically asking for it.
High as she was, however, it made it less fun. He couldn’t twist her around when she was high. She would twist herself around just as easily on her own. As evidenced by her lack of panic when he made her let go of the tree and walk closer to him. She seemed to simply accept it and that wouldn’t do. Part of him truly wanted to take control of her and make her feel that panic that he ate up like candy from his victims. However, even that little usage made him feel the slight unhinged feeling that came from using his affinity.
She didn’t seem to approve of him being bored. This amused him greatly and he made a note to keep it up. If he couldn’t twist her using his affinity or his words, perhaps simply his tone would do. In fact, he was certainly counting on it doing just that. Thus, he would keep it up as long as he chose to. Howver, her response to his words made his temper flair under the surface. How dare she judge him? He came close to growling but took a moment to calm himself. He wouldn’t let her , this little high waif, this nothing, cause him to lose his temper. He would lose it when he himself chose to do so.
”You’re having troubles standing up straight. If you tried to kick my ass even literally I doubt you could stay standing. You’d land on your ass and get mud all over that see through shirt of yours” he commented, keeping the bored tone. However, he realized he was taking note of her attire far too much. Perhaps it had just been too long since he had had a good round of sex was all.
Her arrogance and confidence in her own abilities when she had to know she wasn’t going to be able to do anything in truth with all this water gave her some points. But she also lost the due to the stupidity of bragging about it. It could go either way, but Daze wasn’t scared so that meant that she lost points instead. Poor her, it wouldn’t due to lose points with Daze, he tended to make it that much worse for every lost point. He walked a bit closer to her, tiny little thing. He was surprised she wasn’t shivering in the cold, but perhaps it was the cold. If he was the caring sort he’d offer her his shirt. But he wasn’t the caring sort, and he didn’t much mind the view. ”I doubt you could get one touch in” he said, baiting her now. He wanted to get her mad enough to try something. It would give him an excuse to do things back.
He wouldn’t even really need his affinity with this one.
She needed to watch her insults though. This time Daze did growl, low and soft and mostly lost to the babbling of the water behind him. She should watch her tone. He didn’t have control for very long, and he very much preferred to play with girls with his own brains rather than his temper. However, she kept pushing him like this and he couldn’t garentee that would be the case. This was why he usually stayed away from druggies, they were an aggravating lot and he didn’t wish to associate with their psychotics. Not for too long anyway. Before he had a chance to lose his temper with her though, suddenly she was giggling and acting like a child. He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, willing patience for himself to deal with this child.
He would deal with her all right, before the night was up. He intended to. But she was testing his ability to make it more interesting and slower. He took another step closer. ”Go where? I prefer it here” He said, trying to keep his impatience with her mood swings to himself.

Shit.
That pretty much summed up Lightning right now.
She was talking shit, she felt like shit, and she was pretty sure she looked a little shit, too.
Lightning shook her head, attempting to focus.
God, that buzzing was annoying. She swatted at the non-existent flies around her head; a half-assed try to clear her head. She rubbed her eyes, a slight giggle slipping past her lips. The edges of her sight were beginning to blur; the whole vision blanketed with a dim screen, darkening by the minute. She wanted to claw at her eyes-- remove the sheets that were blocking her usually, perfect vision.
She frowned, before blinking; she suddenly had a rare moment of clarity. Cerulean eyes scanned the boy in front of her, before cursing. Shit. She needed to concentrate. Fuck that, she needed to go. Now.
"You’re having troubles standing up straight. If you tried to kick my ass even literally I doubt you could stay standing. You’d land on your ass and get mud all over that see through shirt of yours.” He said, bored.
For some reason, she found this funny; hilarious.
She burst into laughter, brushing away a stray tear. His comment of her attire meant nothing to her; she was wearing underwear. She wasn't revealing anything that he wouldn't have seen on a beach.
Unable to support herself much longer, she felt the urge to lean on the tree again, or at least, collapse onto the floor. But his words echoed around her mind, and she realised that if she did so, then he would just be proving him right. And that, would piss her off. A lot.
She straightened up.
"Oh, noticed my shirt, have you?" She asked, bursting into a new fit of giggles. "Well sweetheart, girls like me don't come cheap." She winked, before blowing him a kiss. Her fingertips gently touching her lips in an elegant poise, she giggled once again, her eyes hungrily searching for his.
"I doubt you could get one touch in."
Her eyes narrowed.
The fingers that previously touched her lips travelled towards his chest, before being placed just below his neck, gently trailing downwards an inch; devious eyes flickering up to meet his. "Score." She murmured, before activating her affinity by a minute amount -- just enough to shock him, but not enough to hurt him.
She hissed, as the shock travelled back to her, the rain messing with her power.
Stupid mother fucking nature.
The fledgling took a step towards her; alerting her sense of personal space. Before he could say a word, she growled, baring teeth.
"Go where? I prefer it here”
Oh?
With a small smile, she licked her lips seductively, before biting her lower lip. "Out in the wild? Not scared of the beasts?" She purred, not really noticing what she was saying. Probably didn't make sense, anyway.
With the same hand that touched his chest, she brought it back to her own, before playfully sliding a finger down the centre; watching as it left a darkened path on the white cloth. Her eyes flickered back up. With a small hiss, she turned, not wanting to play any longer. With a giggle, she looked back, before blowing him a second kiss. A pause, and then she broke off into a run.
If he wanted to catch her, he'd have to be quick.

Daze found himself debating the sanity of even bothering to keep a grip on the firey demon that was his temper. Even as he stood here by the water, which always managed to calm him down far more than anything else, she appeared to be intent on pushing his buttons as far as she was able to do. It made him wonder why he should bother holding back, when she was so clearly asking to be hurt. Perhaps he should simply give the silly girl what it was that she was clearly asking for. However, she was quite clearly high on something, if the way in which she was acting—and the way in which she was dressed of course—was any indication. She was swatting at nothing and giggling at nothing when there was someone dangerous with her. Though, he doubted she realized how dangerous he could be. Not now, when he was keeping a close eye on the way he was acting and the temper that was raging just under his skin. She seemed to be having serious troubles. Perhaps he could help her, his own brand of helping of course. The idea made a small wry smile threaten to twist on to his features. He told her, however, that he doubted she could kick his ass when she could barely stand up straight. He appeared to be entirely bored as he said it, mostly because that was far safer at the moment. He had already used his affinity, losing his temper would cause him to use it again and then he doubted that he would be able to keep a grip on his sanity. His affinity tended to make him lose his mind. She laughed and he arched an eyebrow as he looked at her, he wasn’t quite sure what he had said that could possibly be so funny. Her mood swings were odd to him but he simply sighed and suffered through them at this point. She commented saying she wasn’t cheap and tried to appear as such. A rare flare of humor, cruel humor, flared up in his eyes and he shook his head. ”I beg to differ, you appear plenty cheap to me at the moment. Nothing more than a cheap whore.” he said, though his tone was bored despite the humor in his eyes. Was he trying to get her angry? Of course he was. They were more amusing when they were angry. He informed her that he doubted that she could touch him, and he hadn’t expected her to actually try, so when she did he flinched back but not before she managed to shock him. He hissed at the slight pain, but if her mirroring hiss was any indication, she had managed to shock herself as well. He reached up to snatch her hand, squeezing the little bones of the wrist perhaps a little to hard, but he was losing his temper with this mood swinging woman. He growled a little. ”Watch yourself, child” he said, the growl apparent in his voice as he spoke, narrowing his eyes and looking down at her. Then he flung her hand away from himself, as if he couldn’t stand to touch her a moment longer. She was losing all her points with Daze, and that was a dangerous position to be in when it came to being around the tempermental young man. He rarely acted as polite society dictated that he should. He had come down here to meditate and she was disturbing that. And to make matters worse, she was also making him angry. It was not a smart thing to be doing around him. He didn’t take well to losing his temper, he often did things normal people would regret later. Not that he, himself, would allow himself to care too much about it. From the way she was acting, she was nothing more than a common druggie, or from her dress she was nothing more than a common whore. Neither made her count too much in Daze’s estimation. Not a safe place to be around him. He informed her that he was quite content to be right where he was, her mood swings causing his temper to rise but he willed himself to remain calm if he could manage it. She was being seductive now, and curious as to what could happen, he made a point to catch her eyes then, establishing a connection with his affinity. Poor little girl was trapped, all it took was an eye catch and he could do as he pleased for a short period of time. He refrained form claiming that he was the beast in here, that was a clichéd line, however true that it may be. Instead he shook his head. ”Humans can often be scarier than the beasts” he answered her. And he watched as she traced a line in her cloth and then again looked up. He had been watching the hand, what could he say he was a man after all, but caught her eyes once more as they flickered up, making sure the connection to her with his affinity was strong. It was like tying the strings on a puppet when he caught someone’s eyes. The strings may be invisible, but when they started moving the puppet, the puppet certainly noticed their existence. Damon Daze was a very good at what he did, and he was a very good puppeteer. So when she ran, it barely took more than a moment to tug at the strings on her feet to bring her to a halt barely a few feet away from him. He had decided to only use the strings on her body, which meant she had no control over her head, face, or mouth. But that was fine. He wanted only the body right now. He twirled his hand, making her legs make her turn back towards him, and then he simply froze her as he walked closer. ”As I said, humans can be far more beastly” he said, his temper sparking in his eyes. He had let it off it’s leash. He was curious to see what could occur next. ------------------------------ I'm sorry this post isn't the greatest! It'z been so long since I posted! And if it seemz a bit god-mode-y, itz his affinity. I can change it if you like though
