[Marluxia]

Marluxia was spending this day by himself in his room at Atlantis. He frowned, all his roommates weren't there and he wasn't actually complaining, it was more female company that he was desiring.

He laughed at himself, wasn't that the company he was always desiring? It seemed so. He stood getting off the bed and buttoning the cuff links of the white shirt he had been wearing. He sighed. What was he going to do? He didn't want to go find anyone. Honestly, he wanted people to come to him. He shrugged as he tied his dress shoes. He made a decision


He was going to go up to the roof. Hell no one would be up there and it was night time, so it would be beautiful for him to look out at. He went into the closet that they shared and pulled out Artemis. He smiled at her, she was a beautiful acoustic guitar and she did her job well, no one would replace Athena of course and he had been so careless with her.


There never was a more cared for guitar than Artemis now.

He smiled and took hold of her delicately and then walked out of his room to the fire escape. He opened the door and walked up the stairs slowly. He had all the time in the world. He started thinking about something that had been plaguing him and he frowned.

He didn't know why it had bothered him so much in the first place. Horoscopes weren't real. They were bullshit, made up to con people into believing that someone knew there future. Right. He scoffed as he thought about it, but still it bothered him.

Earlier that day he had gone down into the hotel lobby because he hadn't been very tired and he went to use a computer/ Check his email and things like that. He checked it and on the side bar of the page, was something about horoscopes. Out of curiosity he had checked it. He entered his name and stuff like it told him too and then showed it a horoscope.

It had told him that he no longer needed to long for love. That love was going to find him and he scoffed at it. Even though it hit home. He had shrugged it off.

Truth be told, it had bothered him. Marluxia didn't do love. He never had and he never would.

He had seen what love could do to a person. To his mother for example...

He shook his head as e opened the door to the roof and the sight of the moon and stars, nearly took his breath away. It was beautiful.

The stars danced across the sky like happy ballerinas doing swan lake. He smiled and noted that line, he would use it in his poetry later. The moon was ever and opalescent orb blessing the sky with her light. This stuff was good. He smiled, shoving thoughts of the horoscope down and just looked out into the sky.

He walked over and sat on the ledge of the room and Strummed Artemis's beautiful strings just once. This sort of reminded him of a song. Just a little, he'd need a woman for it to be complete but he started to sing the soulful tune anyway. No one would hear him, it would be okay.

He stopped singing then. Needing to stop for fear that someone was coming and he played the tune on his guitar. Then he just smiled and pushing down the thoughts of the horoscope form earlier and played the song.

He wasn't sure if he wanted company or not. But he refused to recognize the feelings of loneliness inside him. All he needed was his music and he would play it till it filled him. That was all someone like him could do.

Adelaide wasn't one to follow orders when it came to Kalona, but then again she rarely ever followed orders, so when she decided to go up on the roof who was there to stop her? Nobody. She was an adult now, she could make her own decisions.

That night she was wearing mostly black clothing, black tank top and black jeans with black boots on. Sure she was in the Bahamas but sometimes she wanted to blend in, ya know? Well how hard would that be? Very, the moon and stars were out that night, and her almost tan skin would leave her, exposed in the darkness she wanted to hide in. Ever since she was Marked by Kalona she hated people seeing her tattoo's, but she had no choice.

Tonight she heard music coming from the roof, odd. And a man was singing... She followed it quickly, her gut telling her to go back but her heart said to follow. She exited the stairs onto the roof silently and kept in the shadows, he soon stopped singing and Addy felt free of it, but she decided to stay.

The man was a fledgling, a blue one in fact. He almost looked like her ex but she made him pay for what he did to her years ago. His hair was long but she didn't mind that, what she admired about it was that it shone in what little light was outside, and from his side profile she could barely see bright blue eyes, they were beautiful.

Adelaide closed her eyes to keep from thinking anymore about this boy. He only looked 17, and she was 20. Not exactly the best thing, besides she didn't know his past, she didn't want to harm the boy, no not at all. He seemed too good to be harmed by her affinity, more like her curse. She wondered if he was just all alone up here but she didn't want to say anything...

Until Kgosi walked onto the roof and started for the fledgling. Addy tried to call the king cheetah to her but Kgosi kept walking to him. Addy finally tackled the cheetah, Kgosi letting out a loud growl. She looked to the fledgling and realized the moon was hitting her face just right to hit her tattoo's, illuminating her skin and not the black that encased her face, neck and back. "I'm sorry! Please forgive Kgosi, he doesn't know what the word 'stay' means."Addy got off of Kgosi and he purred, licking her face, but she looked away from the fledgling and away from the moonlight, encasing the tattoo's on her face in darkness, but she had her hair up, illuminating the ones that went from her neck down to her back.

[Marluxia]

Marluxia loved to play music. He was very good at it and he wished he could go professional but the likelihood of that was very very slim.

He sighed and he continued to strum the string of Artemis. He smiled and watched the night sky unfolding before him, it almost made him want to write a song.

He swung his waist length black hair around his shoulders so that it was full out across his back and then he pondered the thought. Marluxia didn't usually write songs. He only wrote poetry. But he thought it might be something good for him to start.

That was when he heard something or well someone coming out the door. He didn't turn because he wasn't thinking but the only thing that made him turn was the growl that he heard behind him. He whipped his head around to see a girl..with a cheetah.

He was used to big cats, He was around Cris all the time and she had a panther.

The girl was very pretty and she started apologizing, but in Marluxia's head he was worried. He wondered if she had heard him singing. His affinity for luring people in with his voice only got him into trouble. He thought, thinking about what had happened with Angel.

He stood and spoke. "No it's cool..I'm used to big cats." he said with a small smile, putting Artemis down on the roof floor.

He noticed her tattoo's and it shocked him not only was this girl a vampire. She was a black vampire. He decided she was still pretty and there was no harm in talking to her so he spoke. "I'm Marluxia...and you are?" he said with his signature smile.

Adelaide sighed and stood up, but she let her face be caught in the moonlight again. She was sure he saw her markings by now, what was the point in hiding them. Kgosi sniffed the air and sat down, tail flicking this way and that, watching the fledgling. He said his name and Addy smiled."I'm Adelaide, but you can call me Addy if you want." Addy said, giggling slightly. Her name wasn't that common, that's why she kept it when she turned into a fledgling.

She eyed his guitar on the ground and looked back at him, "I heard you singing earlier, it was really good, that your affinity?" Addy asked, Kgosi sniffing Marluxia's hand, then licking it once and sitting back down. "That means he likes you, or at least approves. He's very picky." Kgosi purred and nuzzled her hip. Addy giggled and patted his head again.

Adelaide had powers that came and went in the blink of an eye, so when she saw a light aura coming from Marluxia she smiled, he didn't kill, her affinity wouldn't affect him, thank the goddess. She wouldn't know what to do if he had killed, he was cute, she didn't want to hurt him, unintentionally. "What former are you?" Adelaide asked, she'd feel a bit better if she found out what year he was in at the school.

Adelaide looked to the beach and saw some red fledglings out there having fun, she was kinda glad she didn't die and come back a red, but she wasn't any happier as a black vampyre. "I guess most of the fledglings here are happy that Kalona is not here?" Adelaide asked, remembering that if she was asked she joined Kalona willingly, even though she really didn't have any being she followed, Nyx never gave her anything useful, her affinity is a curse, that's all it was.

[Marluxia]

Marluxia had intended on spending this night all alone. Worrying about that horoscope he had seen, but apparently there would be no such luck. He wasn't exactly complaining about it then though.

He watched the girl stand, showing her tattoo's in the light, she was truly beautiful and Marluxia loved pretty girls, well mostly just to sleep with them but still. He shrugged mentally and then she said her name and he smiled. Adelaide. He knew a song about a girl named Adelaide.

"Good evening Adelaide...Did you know there's a song written about your name?"he said with a big flirty smile. He couldn't help it, He was almost always flirty with pretty girls. She seemed alright, even if she was a black vampyre.


She started to eye Artemis and he smiled and picked her up, sitting back down on the roofs edge again. She said she had heard him singing and he froze. She seemed okay, she wasn't fawning all over him. Maybe she hadn't heard enough to be completely entranced? Whatever it was, he was glad of it because he did not need another mess created by his affinity. She asked if it was his affinity and he nodded and then said

"Sort of yes...I'm a Siren...I lure people in with my voice...I don't do it on purpose...I usually sing alone. he said with a blank face even though on the inside he was frowning. He would love to be able to sing in public again.

Her cheetah came up and licked his hand and he smiled. He didn't mind. He spent so much time with Chii that he was so used to having big cats around. He smiled when she said that he approved, then he looked at the big cat bowing his head and then said fondly.
"Well it is an honor and privilege that I get to meet you approval"

He smiled and leaned back and them strummed the guitar strings once just because he could.

She asked him what former he was and He smiled and said "5th..how old are you?"he said curiously, he was all for older women but finding out how much older would be a good idea.


She said that she guessed all the fledglings were glad Kalona wasn't there and he scoffed. Glad? More like ecstatic.He thought with a small smile then he responded. "glad is an Understatement"he said seriously, he didn't know if she was black willingly or not but he was still going to voice his opinion.

Adelaide giggled and shook her head. "No, honestly, I didn't. I was born with the name and I guess my parents must have known." She said, her voice growing a little colder after 'parents'. She hated her father, he could have saved her mother but he didn't. She tried to push the thought out of her head but she couldn't. She shook her head and looked at the boy in front of her.

Ahh, a siren then huh? He must have some kind of range or limit."Is there a range or limit to your singing? My affinity is...Well, I need to know this have you killed anybody? My affinity is to punish those who have murdered...Yeah makes this very hard when Kalona or the Ferret is around." Addy said, petting her cheetah. She hinted as to who's side she was on and she hoped he was smart enough to catch it.

Kgosi made a noise at what Marluxia said and Addy giggled. "He stuttered, sort of. Cheetah's make noises like that during social gatherings, so he's just welcoming you into his little group, even though he's the only cheetah around here. See the stripes going down his back? These are markings of the King Cheetah, although it's just a recessive gene, nothing royal about him." Kgosi growled and tried to paw at Addy, "Although he seems to think so."

He asked her age and she didn't want to lie, but 17 was only three years younger than 20, and it wasn't that bad of an age difference, her mother was four years older than her father. "I'm 20, I turned into a vampyre two years ago." She said moving over to sit next to him, but not too close as to accidentally touch him, she still wasn't sure if he didn't kill anyone.

She giggled slightly and looked again to the beach, smiling at the red fledglings having fun. "Yes, I guess that is an understatement. Listen if you don't tell anybody, I'll tell you who I follow, despite what my marks say." Adelaide felt she could trust him, but that might have been the small dose of his singing she listened to earlier....either way she wanted to trust him.

[Marluxia]

Marluxia smiled widely when she giggled showing his pearly white teeth. Marluxia loved to make pretty girls smile and laugh, especially when they had nice smiles, which he noted that Adelaide did.

Adelaide, it was such a beautiful name..exotic..but simply. He pushed the thought to the back of his mind, he could be poetic later when he was back in his room. Now he should respond to the beautiful girl before him.

She said that she hadn't known that there was song with her name in it and he smiled. A lot of people didn't know the song, he had first heard it on a show, then looked it up when he decided that he liked it, he even learned how to play it.

"Ah, well it's not very popular, id sing it for you but that would be dangerous...your parents have good taste."he noted that when she said parents that it had a bitter edge to it but he wasn't going to ask. He was in no mood for being mushy or being upset.


She asked him if his affinity had a range or a limit and he nodded to her because it did indeed have a range. "Yea it does...Like ten feet, most of the time you have to be in the same room with me for it to work...most of the time. You seem fine though, thank the goddess for that. he said with another bright smile, showing off his pearly whites.


She said what her affinity was and his eyebrows sort of shot up. That was a most interesting affinity and made him really glad that he was not a murderer. Marluxia had beaten the living crap out of people before, but only when they deserved it. Even then he had never killed anyone. "Beating up people count cus I've done that when deserved"he said with a laugh"But no..I've never killed anyone...I can Imagine it would be hard with them too"he said with a grimace but also wondering who's side this girl was really on.


She was explaining about her Cheetah and Marluxia grinned, excepted in by a royal huh? Well isn't that an honor. It was actually it was a great honor to him. He smiled and then stood and bowed to the cheetah with grace. "I don't know..he seems like a royal to me..Thank you your highness"he said with a smile.


Adelaide said she was twenty and that she turned into a Vampire two years ago and Marluxia just sort of nodded. He smiled as she came and sat next to him. Marluxia made sarcastic jokes all the time so, he decided to make one now.
"Well I do like my older women"he said with a wag of his eyebrows.


She agreed saying it was an understatement and then said if he didn't telly anyone she would tell him where allegiances lied and he nodded pushing strands of his dark hair behind his ears. "Okay..I promise..Spill"he said calmly.

“You can call me Addy if you'd like, it's a nickname that a friend of mine gave me in kindergarten, and I used to get along with my parents, my mother died of breast cancer a few years ago...My father let her die.” Adelaide said, nothing more after that. It was quite simple, her affinity wasn't, she had others too, but nothing much to report on just yet.
Adelaide laughed slightly at him, kinda glad he had a range, must have been in it when she was walking up here, but she had no idea. She liked his smile, nice and bright, he was handsome but... he was a little young, but three years isn't that bad, so she decided a little flirting was harmless.
He wasn't a murderer! Adelaide smiled widely and sighed happily. “Thank goodness, if you were you'd have to stay away from me, well if you brushed into me you'd have a wound wherever you touched me. My last boyfriend I slapped him, not hard but he was missing his cheek for a few days...” Adelaide said, scooting closer to him. Kgosi put his head in her lap and she scratched behind his ear.
She giggled when he bowed to her cat and her cheetah purred, showing that he approved of her. Half of the reason why she got Kgosi was for boyfriend approval, and so far Kgosi liked him, just wait, she could tell with his affinity, and with the way he was flirting with her, he was a ladies man.
She rolled her eyes and giggled slightly, he liked older women huh? “Oh so you want me to be a cougar then?” Addy said, raising an eyebrow, but she was kidding, he was a nice boy, close to making the change, she changed at 18, it was during 18 or 19 that making the change was very likely, so he had one more year as a fledgling, maybe. You could be a day away from the change and your body will reject it, which really was unfortunate.
So he wanted to know? She nodded and cleared her throat. “Technically I'm not on anyone's side, I am basically on my own, if I had to follow someone, I'd say myself, Nyx I used to follow until Kalona came, and if we were at the House of Night I'd say Kalona, but I cannot follow a murderer... and I cannot kill him with my affinity, even though he would be severely hurt, he cannot be killed.” Adelaide said, looking at her hands, feeling, not ashamed, but scared. She rarely ever was scared, so she put on a mask of interest and looked at him. “I'm guessing you are Nyx's fledgling, you follow a goddess that has stopped listening to you?”

[Marluxia]

Adelaide was telling him that he could call her Addy if he wanted and he shrugged. He didn't want to shorten her name, it would take away from her beauty. The name within itself was incredibly beautiful and he felt that it was insulting to shorten it so he would continue to call her Adelaide for as long as he knew her.

"Actually I rather call you Adelaide, Why shorten such a beautiful name?"he said with a flirtatious smile and a quirk of his brow.

She was telling him about her parents and he really just nodded because he didn't know much else to do. The girl's mother died of breast cancer and he grimaced, She said that her father let her die and that made him look at her quizzically. He wanted to know, but at the same time he really didn't want to know...he sighed. He wasn't very good at consoling people, but he had to try anyway right? "Well I am very sorry for your loss...Both my parents are dead...Died in a plane crash"

he nodded as he said it, he didn't know what made him tell her that but he did, maybe he thought it would help. He shook his head, how would that help? She would probably just feel sorry for him and he didn't need that right now

He listened to her relief at the fact that he had never killed anyone and he smiled. He was glad he had never done it too, She said about her last boyfriend and he just nodded with a sort of impressed look on his face. "Well at least you shouldn't have to worry about any of your boyfriends being mean to you..they'd be too afraid"he said with a small laugh

It was supposed to be a joke and he hoped that she got it.

She asked him if he wanted her to be cougar then jokingly and with a giggle and he laughed his bright and uplifting laugh. Well Cougars were older women who slept with younger men. If that was all she wanted from him he certainly didn't mind, he didn't do relationships anyway. "Well..I' m up for it if you are"he said with a playful wink.

She was now telling him who's side she was really on and he listened, It sounded like she was on Kalona's side but at the same time she wasn't. He didn't understand really, but it was what she said next that bothered him.

He followed a goddess that had stopped listening to him. He looked down at his guitar. "She hasn't stopped listening...But Yes..I follow Nyx,"he said strongly and proudly.

No Matter what, he would always follow Nyx too but he thought that was best left, unsaid.

Addy smiled at Marluxia and laughed softly. "I got the nickname when I was human, most kids couldn't pronounce my name so I became Addy, but I like the way my name sounds when you say it, makes it sound much prettier than it is." In some ways that was true, but one day she looked up her name, it meant...noble and kind. What was so noble about her? She was a monster to those who have killed, but she couldn't see how she would be...She didn't know why she had those powers, she didn't know what she was..."Sometimes I don't even feel like a vampyre." That was more to herself, not to Marluxia, but if he heard it she wouldn't care.

She frowned when he talked about his parents, he was only 17, that must have been tough. "I'm sorry for yours as well, and it's alright, I've gotten...Used to the idea, and if you want to know, my father knew about her cancer, he just didn't do anything about it. He's one of those..People of Faith you could call it, he thinks praying to his God will solve everything." Addy said, looking out to the sea. It was beautiful at night, the moon shining on the water, making the water shimmer in an eerie kind of light, but in a way it was perfect.

Addy giggled and smiled at him. She was glad he tried to make a joke of her ability, revenge was her favorite area, she just...loved it. The feeling of getting even with somebody who you felt wronged you or someone else... Her eyes flashed and she looked to the streets, she saw a figure walking who had a dark aura around him, very dark. Her eyebrows narrowed and she heard his thoughts, dark dark thoughts. Addy closed her eyes and mumbled something. "Goddess these humans have the worst thoughts." Not usually did she hear something that...repulsive, but it only happened at random moments.

Addy laughed again and looked at him. He was cute, and it looked like he had experience with women, odd for a boy of his age. Not that odd but he shouldn't be sleeping around with women, ah who was she to judge? She pretended to think about it for a few seconds then shook her head. "As much fun as that sounds, I don't think it would be wise, I'm not ready for any kind of romantic or physical relationship yet, these...black tattoo's keep reminding me about the disgusting Immortal I "work" for, and how many woman he's hurt just by sleeping around with them." She hoped she didn't hurt his feelings or make him mad with that comment, she just thought flings were not right, and she didn't want to give her virginity up to a boy, well, not to a man that didn't love her. She wanted love, that's all she wanted.

Addy smirked slightly. "I'm glad, at least you follow a goddess, who I'm sure loves you, she just...hasn't answered any of my prayers after I was marked by Kalona, so I felt...Abandoned... So I follow my own path, and work as a spy, you could say, to spy on Kalona, I wish that the next chosen ones would show themselves already and kick his ass." Kgosi licked Adelaide's hand and she sighed, petting the cheetah's fur softly.

[Marluxia]

Marluxia smiled as he listened to Adelaide talk to him about her name and she explained how it was a nickname given too her by kids who couldn't pronounce it and he laughed. She said He made her name sound prettier than it was and he shook his head. Her name was very pretty on it's own.

"I don't make it sound prettier, It's just a very pretty name in general. She said then that sometimes she didn't even feel like a vampyre and Marluxia shrugged. She had said it lowly and it would be easy to pass it off as if he didn't hear it. It seemed like a conversation that he didn't want to have at the moment.

She started talking about how her Father was and she apologized for His loss and Marluxia shook his head. What should she be sorry for? It wasn't like he and his parents had been on good terms when they died. His father didn't speak to him from the moment he had been marked. All his mother did was beg him to turn back. Some parents. He shrugged and turned his attention back to Adelaide. "I'm sorry about that"he wasn't very sure what else to say so he left it at that and looked down at his guitar.


Adelaide laughed at him and then all of a sudden, she seemed to be looking intently at someone who was walking below them. He shrugged and picked up Artemis, He strummed her strings a little bit and just smiled while he waited for her to say something, She said that the humans have the worst thoughts and he shrugged. "Everyone can have a bad thought every now and again. No matter what type they are." he said with a little shrug.

She was denying him nicely and he just smiled. He didn't really care that she was denying him. He had plenty of other options to be with. She mentioned the way Kalona dealt with women and Marluxia sighed. That was a very big difference between him and Kalona. "Yeah..Kalona is horrible to these girls, That's where he goes wrong...He goes around promising them his everlasting love and such bull...He should give it to them straight..I tell all girls who are interested that I don't date..This way no one gets hurt...Then again Kalona is an asshole..why would he consider anyone's feelings but his own."

He listened to her explain about how she felt abandoned after being chosen by Kalona and he nodded. Kalona was always ruining something. He decided to respond. "I'm sure new chosen ones will show up..But in the meantime...you ever think that Nyx might have sent you to Kalona? like this is all in her plan? That this will help you in the end?"he shrugged it was just a thought.

Adelaide smiled a little at him, her name usually wasn't called pretty, maybe because it sounded more like some type of juice or drink. "Thank you." That's all she said to him about it, she wasn't as ashamed of her name as earlier, she only kept it when turned into a fledgling because it already sounded unique and different, why change it?

"How about we just stop talking about our parents, seems to me like we both had troubles with them." Addy said, she didn't like talking about her father, but revenge was....Sweet to her, she loved it, sometimes she thought she needed it, some type of retribution, even if it was just for a guy taking her pencil without asking! Revenge to her was like candy to a little kid, the more she "got" the happier she was.

He tried to defend the human, she shook her head slightly, still looking out to where she saw him. "Maybe, but his aura....was dark and cruel, but not as dark as Kalona's...His thoughts were almost as cruel...I hate it when I can hear their thoughts, it's disgusting." She meant when she could hear the thoughts of rapists and murderers, ever once in a while she got the thoughts of a good person, but more often than not she got the thoughts of evil, Raven Mockers and Kalona, seeing people's aura wasn't like others either, she saw the "danger factor" of theirs, if they killed more than one person or if they never hurt a fly, Marluxia was a light colored one, meaning that he was pretty much harmless, Kalona's was dark, very dark, meaning he was very dangerous and deserved revenge from the women he hurt...

Ahh he was agreeing with her. Yes Kalona was an ass, so was the Ferret, and she agreed to what he was saying, why promise a girl everything when all they would get is...nothing. It made her feel sorry for the red headed blue fledgling, poor girl got her heart broken by the Bird Man once, why would she want it to be broken a second time? "Yes he should shouldn't he? But he won't. He wants his victims to believe he is 'The One', just to destroy them later." She saw it hundreds of times, he'd flirt and make a girl fall for him, get what he wanted, usually sex, then dispose of her, breaking the girls heart and sometimes the girl herself.

"Hmmm..." She never thought of it that way before, would Nyx send her to Kalona to spy? She didn't know, she just felt like she should get back at Kalona for doing this to her, somehow, she felt drawn to him, not to love him, but to hurt him, get revenge, she felt that after her finding out the truth about her father and catching her ex cheating on her, she felt like she needed to get her revenge, to make her mark on them, a burn or scar would make sure of that, and after, she felt...better, like weights were lifted from her shoulders. "You might be right, but the only way to know for sure is to ask her, but...we haven't had any circle casting in a long time, Kalona is the 'god' now, and I don't want to worship him...I don't know who to worship anymore." Now there was a bigger weight on them, and it was called Kalona, and she hoped he would go soon, either by the new saviors...

Or by her means, and trust me, you do not want to see what this girl can do.

"Your welcome"Marluxia said politely to her as she thanked him for calling her name pretty, It was nothing really, he was only telling her the truth. Adelaide was one of the most unique names he had ever heard, it might have been in that exotic flower book he had read once. He mentally shrugged off the thought, it didn't matter.

Marluxia had to agree when she said that they should stop talking about their parents. Marluxia didn't even like to think of his parents. All it did was make him feel pain that he did not want to recognize. Marluxia had never been close to his father...but his mother, now she was a different story which made it worse when she turned against him..then they died...Whatever...

Marluxia looked out to the human that she was looking at with mixed feelings. She said that his thoughts were dark and cruel and almost as bad as Kalona's. He frowned. Anyone who's thoughts were as bad as Kalona's deserved whatever they got coming to them, but Marluxia still had to believe that we all had bad thoughts sometimes. She said that she hated when she got their thoughts and he just looked at her. He thought his affinity was bad.

"I thought my affinity was bad...All I do is lure people in.."he trailed off a bit there. He felt bad for her, but he had his own issues with his affinity as well, for him a musician, it was hard to sing when all it did was make any one who was near you start fawning over you. It made Marluxia sick. He had enough people on a normal basis fawning all over him and he didn't need any forced ones.

She was talking more about how Kalona tricked people and he nodded."He doesn't just trick people into love either, he says that he will help them and give them what they want and then doesn't."with how old Kalona was, Marluxia wouldn't have been surprised if he was the original bull shit artist.

Adelaide was pointing out about there being no circles and saying there was no way to ask Nyx because of that fact amd that Kalona was god and that she didn't know who to worship. Marluxia shook his head, she was missing the big picture here. "Your right, there has been no circle..but if you wanna talk to her, you could always go to the temple yourself, have your own circle. Just talk to her there, no harm in trying that."

He said with a little shrug, Marluxia himself had never tried this though, no matter how many questions he had, he never knew how to put them together. Some things are best kept to yourself right?

Hobbies. Addy thought about that for a few seconds then smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, I love biology and I went to college to major in it. That's kind of how I got Kgosi."Addy said, and Kgosi started purring deeply as she scratched under his chin, his tail flicking left and right. She looked at Marluxia and smiled a bit. "So what are your hobbies Marluxia? Besides playing the guitar and singing."She asked, letting Kgosi's purring end as the big cat looked at the blue fledgling.

He didn't know how lucky he was to be a blue one. The constant pull to follow Kalona almost made Addy physically sick, she missed Africa, but Kalona said she needed her more, so she followed him. She looked back out to the ocean and ran a hand through her hair, wishing she could be a blue vampyre, maybe then she'd be able to make decisions that didn't involve what Kalona thought.

Her head turned back when he spoke of his affinity. A siren's voice? She rose her eyebrow and looked at him."You can't turn it off? Have you tried? Maybe Nyx will let you shut it on or off when you Change."She looked back to the ocean then her jeans, fixing her boots a little before lying down and looked at the sky. The stars were out that night, as they were always, but she didn't care for them. She looked at the moon and just let her eyes stare at it.

He spoke of Kalona and his ways of manipulating people. She laughed a little then sighed. "He's very... He doesn't like emotions, they confuse him. I can see that when he talks with Neferet." She looked back at the moon and zoned out a bit, then heard him say she could just talk to Nyx whenever, just by entering the temple. She let that thought run over a few times in her head, Kgosi put his head on her thigh and she looked back at Marluxia.

"Yeah, but what do you do when everything you prayed for doesn't happen? You pray hope and do everything you can to keep something from disappearing or destroyed?Dragon's wife was my mentor, so when she died... It crushed me. Then Kalona marked me and...well that's why I don't exactly think praying to Nyx will help me right now."She looked back up to the moon and felt tears sting her eyes, but she blinked them back and just put on a straight face.[/right]

Marluxia was enjoying sitting here with Adelaide. It took his mind off of everything that had been bothering him. He pushed his long black ebony locks behind his ears again as he listened to her speak about her hobbies.

Apparently she loved biology, Marluxia hated biology very much. He was smart and if he had a class on it he would take it and do well but that did not mean that he had to like it because he so didn't...He preferred Anatomy...He grinned at his own little private joke there. "I don't really like biology...but if that's how you got him that's good"

He said with a small smile, she then asked him if he had any other hobbies other than Singing and playing the guitar and he smiled. He did have a few. "Well...I also play the Piano...I write poetry and songs sometimes as well..I read..Things like that"

Yes Marluxia was not very science oriented, he was instead obsessed with the arts. He couldn't draw for the life of him no, but he could sing and dance and he loved to do those things. So he did them all the time, and he loved to write and read so he did those all the time as well. He guessed that that made them considered hobbies. He shrugged.

She was now asking questions about his affinity and Marluxia frowned a little bit as he sat there and he dusted off his pants just to give his hands something to do while he thought of an answer to her questions. Of course he had tried to shut it off, she said maybe Nyx would help him once he changed and he nodded "It's not on all the time..But I can never tell when it's on or not...Sometimes I'll sing and people are fine...But then most of the time they're fawning all over me like sick puppies...It doesn't work on Red's though...Which makes me happy because My best friend is a Red and I love to sing with her"

He said with a small smile, maybe he had given too much information. Maybe she didn't want to know all of that but he shrugged, it had just come out and he didn't mind telling her. She was going to be his friend. He sighed, all he was doing lately seemed to be accumulating girls who are friends. He wasn't used to that. He was used to girls to sleep with. He shrugged it off though, no harm in having a friend.


They were talking about Kalona again and Marluxia frowned. He hated everything to do with Kalona and he wanted to personally punch the guys lights out but that wouldn't happen until he had a plan. He sighed as he listened to Adelaide explain about how she could tell Kalona doesn't like emotions."That's because the bastard doesn't have any. One thing that doesn't come with his oh so "perfectness" or whatever he thinks he is"he said bitterly. Kalona ruins everything.

He listened to her speak now about Nyx and praying and How she lost her mentor when Kalona took over and he frowned. He couldn't understand that really. Marluxia never had a mentor. He never wanted one either. He sighed, prepared to try and be comforting because he could tell she needed it. He took his hand and placed it over hers and spoke softly"I know it must have been difficult for you and it still is...but that doesn't mean that Nyx won't listen to your prayers..or praying isn't a good idea right now...what ever you decide though..it is all up to you"

He said before taking his hand back, he hoped what he said helped but he didn't know so he just looked up to the sky and stared at the beautiful stars that were out that night it made him smile despite the sadness at that moment. Beauty could do that to you.
