Julian was not in a good mood. When Julian was not in a good mood, everyone else had better stay out of his way. Unfortunately for some people they did not realize this. At least not in time for their own lives to be salvaged. He was walking in the night now back to his home and thinking about everything that had happened that night.
He had gone out of his house not looking for something in particular what he had found had been a fight. Julian liked alleyways very much, he walked down the alleyways that night. He ran into something that he wished he hadn't. He was familiar with the acts of prostitutes, but he never exactly wanted to ever see the goings on.
There was a man and a woman engaged in some type of act there and Julian was content to walk pas them. The man however who was wreaking of inebriation, begged to differ. He came off the woman and started ranting at him saying that he was intruding on business that was far too young for Julian to understand.
Big Mistake.
Julian had responded by taking one of his favorite blades from his pocket and stabbing the man in the stomach. The woman started screaming and Julian didn't want to hear it, he was too aggravated, so he slit her throat and dragged the bodies to where he knew they would not be found. The blood stained his shirt but he didn't care. The man had insulted him by saying that he was too young...Implying that he wouldn't understand the filth...insulting his intelligence.
He looked down on his black shirt, it was stained with blood. No one would notice though because of the fact that his shirt was black. He ran his fingers through his hair. Julian was an artist. When he killed people he took his time, he savored their screams and their tears and construed faces...
These people had angered him so...so much that he forgot all procedure and had killed them outright. He could have brought them to the house and disposed of them the proper way...He sighed as he slowed down because he saw his house. He needed to correct himself...he needed to do something to get him out of his funk.
As soon as he got to the front of his house he noticed something, Julian noticed almost everything. There was someone there...someone outside his house. He turned around brushing his hair out of the ice of his eyes and then spoke loudly...
"Show yourself...I do not take Kindly to people on my property..."he looked around trying to see who it was. He was not in the mood tonight. Not in the mood for people who wanted to make his night worse. He stopped and breathed and waited.

Well, it was final.
She had to get out.
Now.
Lightning jumped off her bed, and turned her back to its open covers, the warmth and comfort desperate to try and drag her back in. Well, fuck off. She'd had fucking enough. it was time to get out. Throwing on the last of the clean clothes that she had, she quickly got dressed and slammed out of her room, avoiding looking back into it. Because she knew, that if she did, then she would of just crawled back in and never leave it again. But sulking wasn't going to do fuck all. So, it was time to take matters into her own hands. And by that, i mean walking around, in hope of getting some life back into her. Well, do you have a better plan? No? Didn't think so.
She walked out of the school area, her billowing out, around her thighs as she walked. It was then, that she looked down to see what she was wearing.
And nearly threw up.
Oh Goddess. What the fuck was she wearing? She sighed, and entwined her fingers between her necklace strings, twirling them around her fingertips. They had been the last clean clothes that she could find. And they were in the desparates section of her wardrobe. Fuck. This was what depression led to. A lack of clean clothes, resulting in Lightning looking like a complete retard.
Well. She didn't look that bad, i suppose. It was just.. the whole style just wasn't her, you know? it felt wrong. The only thing she liked about her outfit, were her shoes. Nice, Alexander McQueen, metal heels. Definietly something her style.
She kept walking down the pavement, and turned a corner, only to stop when she saw an abandoned house. No, not abandoned. It was just isolated from the others. Frowning, she walked closer to it, her curiostity getting the better of her. How.. Interesting. She hadn't ever seen this before.
She walked up the steps leading to the door, and she rested her hand against the wood, her mind trying to figure out who lived her. It wasn't humans. She didn't know how she knew that, she just did. But, could it be fledglings? Would that work? Would it be near enough for them not to die from the lack of vampyres around? With a shrug, Lightning hopped down the steps, her eyes gazing at its door. She wanted to go in. But that was probably a bad idea.. Probably. Don't forget that curiosity killed the cat, Light. Her mind whispered urgently to her, and she shrugged again, and turned away, about to walk on.
Footsteps were headed her way, and without thinking, she automatically jumped down and hid, shrinking back into the shadows. Dammit. Now it looked like she was doing some wrong. Something guilty. Crap.
"Show yourself...I do not take kindly to people on my property..."
Oh, fuck it. Lightning stood and stepped out of her hiding place, a shy smile set into her features. Well, caught was caught, right? "Um. Sorry. Just wanted to look around... It's a really pretty house." She smiled again then, only flinching slightly when she realised that she was talking to a male.
Yes, curiosity did kill the cat.
But that cat had 9 lives. Words: 665 Muse: bwahaha. I love Julian! Notes: Aheh. <3

Julian never took kindly to strangers. Unless of course they were attractive strangers who wanted to spend quality time with him. Or if it was someone he could torture. Julian had no shame to who he was. He had always been a killer. Always. His adoptive parents knew that well more than anyone. Not that they would ever tell the tale since they were dead. He smiled as he stood there and waited for the person to show themselves.
The person it seemed, was a girl. A fledgling at that. He smiled at her and she was smiling shyly. How cute. She seemed like one of those sweet girls. Not innocent though. Julian coveted innocence. He could read people that way. Julian could see if someone was innocent just by looking at them. It was a talent he just had, mostly he had this talent because of what he thought about innocence. No one knew this though, Julian had only shared this fact with one person and that was Imara and she didn't even understand why. She wouldn't. Child that that girl was after all.
He turned his attention back the girl at the bottom of his stairs and he walked down smiling down at her as he walked. This had generously brightened his mood. The man he had murdered earlier that evening free from his mind Julian could now focus on this girl that had arrived here at his door step. The possibilities for torture. He couldn't sleep with this girl no no. She wasn't his type..but her skin looked soft. Easily cut and he almost shuddered thinking about it. Not that he could be open about that.
She had said that she was sorry and that she had only wanted to look around because the house was so pretty and he smiled warmly at her. He then turned back to his house and smiled at it as well. She was right, he picked this house because it was so Victorian and gorgeous. It was also perfect for what he did. Places for all of his weapons and places for his other torture devices.
He turned back towards it and spoke in a soft reassuring tone. "It is gorgeous isn't it? It is mine I own it. It look's even more gorgeous from the inside trust me." he smiled and walked closer to her, extending his hand towards her so that she could shake it. He needed to be warm and inviting if this was going to work. Julian had done this so many times that he could probably do it blindfolded but still. He was always careful about it. He was always careful so that nothing would go wrong.
"I'm Adamhe lied. "you are welcome to come in and take a look, I think I've seen you at the House Of Night..I don't have a lot of friends there especially since I spend a lot of my time here and I have had something of a bad night...I could really use the company? I Understand if you don't want to though.."he trailed off looking down...He understood alright. He was playing the sweet card. The nice guy card. Hopefully it paid off.
Without another word he bounced soundlessly up the steps and back towards his front door putting the key in the hole while he waited for her answer. He had a sad look on his face so that he could really play this card well. He wanted her to come inside with him. Julian wanted to play. Julian wanted to see if she could Dance with the Devil and come out alive. Julian didn't think he would kill this one. He didn't turn back to look at her or anything. He just waited patiently. Patience Julian had...most of the time.

Lightning watched the fledgling in front of her walk towards her, and she began to fidget, feeling just a little bit nervous. Some part of her mind was telling her to get the fuck out, and truthfully, she sort of wanted to. Because that part of her mind? It was that voice at the back, the one you know you should listen to, but don't always choose to. You know, the one that tells you that the guy you just walked up to was going to rape you, and leave you all broken and shit. Yeah. That voice.
It was about time she started listening to it.
She said sorry then, and commented on how the house was so pretty, and he smiled so sweetly at her, that she automatically discarded all thoughts of running away. She watched him turn to his house, and smile again, and for some reason... that smile seemed just a little bit off. Setting up her defences again, Lightning frowned just a little, her brows knitting together in a state of confusion. Run, or not run? Good guy, or bad guy. Pfft. Bad guy. All men were dick heads. Sighing, she shook her head, as if to clear out the mini argument that was currently raging inside her mind. Oh fuck it. She'd stay... For now.
"It is gorgeous isn't it? It is mine I own it. It look's even more gorgeous from the inside trust me."
Lightning raised a brow, her blue orbs boring into his, her gaze questioning. What did he mean, it look's even more gorgeous from the inside? He walked closer towards her, and she took a step back, widening the space between them. He extended his hand out, and she stared at it, her own hand laying still at her side. After a second too long, she took it, shaking his hand for only a second. Yeah, in case you didn't know, touch was still a sensitive issue for her. Get raped and you'll know why.
"I'm Adam. You are welcome to come in and take a look, I think I've seen you at the House Of Night..I don't have a lot of friends there especially since I spend a lot of my time here and I have had something of a bad night...I could really use the company? I understand if you don't want to though.."
Oh crap.
Wordlessly, she watched as he went up the steps and pushed his key into the keyhole of his front door, and she hesitated. He seemed harmless, at least. Pretty sweet. A little sad. He had mentioned that he didn't have many friends, and Lightning could understand that. It was something that they had in common. It was just.. well. He was a guy. As in, someone with a dick. Get her problem? If she had touching issues, then how did you expect her to just prance up into some random guy's house?
She bit her lip, and hesitated, before speaking in her soft voice. "Nice to meet you Adam. I'm Lightning." She took a second to think about her choice of whether she was going to go in or not, before speaking again. "Erm, normally, i would go in with you, but... Urm.." Shit. She had to come up with an excuse. A believable one. And quick. "I was sort of on my way to see..." Oh fuck it. Obviously, she was not a good liar. Sighing, she looked up at him, about to say that she wasn't going to go in with him, when she noticed the sad expression on his face. Oh.. Maybe he really did just need someone to talk to. Maybe he was just lonely. Again, she had that in common with him.
Looking around once, she took a step towards him, and smiled, trying to seem friendly. "You know what? Nevermind. Sure, i'll love to have a look." After that, she bounded up the stairs, and opened the door to the house, and gingerly stepped in. Glancing around, she realised that it did look better in the inside. She turned to look at him, and smiled. "Looks great. Mind if take a look in the other rooms?" Lightning smiled again, only now remembering what the voice at the back of her mind had said. Well, that was just great wasn't it.
Just fucking great. Words: 876 Muse: Ehe. Notes: Sorreh for the wait D: <3

{People were so easily manipulated. Especially girls, this was what Julian was thinking as he stood there on the steps of his home waiting to see if this particular girl would fall for his trap. He knew she would, they always did. No matter what is was. Sometimes Julian had to pretend to be sweet, like he was doing now to get them to come inside but the point was they always came inside.
The ones he had to pretend for, like this one. Well they were the some what smart ones. They were wary of him because they could see the predatory glint in his eye. Still they trusted him eventually which is where their intelligence ended in Julian's mind. As for the girls he could be himself with. Most of the time he killed them for sport. One less idiot to haunt this planet with stupidity. That was all the world needed, more stupidity.
Back to the task at hand though, When Julian had come closer to her she had taken a step back. He almost smiled, She was definitely one of the smart ones, one of the very few that he actually met around here. For this, he would let her live. Torture though, well that depended on if she was too smart. Smart enough to leave. He doubted though, since she hadn't ran when he came close.
He had spoke again going to the top of the stairs and waiting for her, he was giving her the invitation to come into his home and she seemed to be looking at him skeptically and all the while, he kept a serene look on his face. One of cool calm and sensitivity. All the crap that women fell for.
That was when she spoke again, She had said it was nice to meet him but she had something..and then she trailed off.It was quite obvious that she was trying to come up with a lie so she could nicely get out of having to come in there with him. He was going to give this one last shot. He looked down then with a sad disappointed face of someone who really wanted her to come in. Someone who would really value her company.
Which was when she spoke again and Julian perked up immediately. She said she would have a look and Julian smiled and stepped aside "Wonderful"he let her go in a head of him and then came in and closed the door behind them.
Guess she wasn't that smart after all. He looked around at his home and smiled as she marveled at it as well. It was completely and utterly gorgeous. Victorian in every single way except for technology that Julian himself had installed. Mostly this was because Julian felt that he belonged in the Victorian era, this though was a story for another time.
She said that the place looked great and then she asked if she could take a look in the other rooms and it took all of Julian's efforts to not full out grin like he was the Cheshire cat. He smiled and with a polite little bow of his head he spoke
"Of course you can, I'll show you my favorite room. It was copied right out of a room in a Victorian London"he said with smile and then let her walk up the stairs ahead of him.
He wasn't exactly lying it was copied from something he had saw in London. It was a torture room and it definitely was his favorite place especially when he had such company as herself. Julian had all the luck in the world tonight.
Words: 630 Muse: good Notes: Julian is evil. And its delicious.

Lightning didn't really trust Adam. But, she thought that he was harmless. As harmless as males could be, at least. So when he asked for her to come into his house and take a look, she had agreed. She thought that it would be okay. Now?Not so much. The longer she stayed in the house, the more she felt nervous, and uncomfortable. Truthfully, she wanted out. But she felt too rude to just storm out. She began to fidget, a new habit she had picked up. It was an annoying one, and she seemed to do it every time she was nervous, or in an awkward situation. Either that, or she chewed on her lip. Which must be an attractive sight, i'm sure.
"Of course you can, I'll show you my favorite room. It was copied right out of a room in a Victorian London"
Well, it was too late to ask to get the fuck out now. Suppressing a sigh, she walked up the stairs, and let him lead the way to his favourite room or whatever, thinking of excuses to leave.
The, 'i have to go meet someone now' excuse had failed epicly, so she was just going to shove that up a rats ass. There was always the, 'oh, is that the time?' but even to Lightning's ears, that sounded pathetic. Oh, how about she just turned and left? Or better yet, how about she never set foot into this damned house in the first place? Rolling her eyes, she mentally smacked herself. Shut up mind. Too late to say that shit now.
"It's a nice house, Adam. Do you live here all by yourself?" She asked lazily, not really curious, but just trying to make conversation. The sudden silence was eerie, and she didn't like it. At all.
When they reached his room, the door was shut, so she glanced at Adam to check it was okay, then opened it, leaning forward to peek in. The room was dark, so she couldn't see much, but something about it screamed danger. Quickly turning her back on it, she smiled nervously to Adam and began to bite her lip. "Er, it seems lovely. Let's move on." She said rather hastily, and she moved, heading for the stairs.
This house was giving her the creeps. The interior looked fine and all, but there was something.. silent in the air. Lightning knew that she wasn't making any sense, but she didn't like it. To put it bluntly, although the house looked fucking amazing, the atmosphere was shit.
And something in her gut told her, that Adam wasn't at all who he said he was.
Fuck.

Julian could sense that the girl was getting restless. She felt that there was something wrong about his house. To Julian, this wasn't wrong. This was home. Home always felt like this and it was because of him that it felt this way. It was Julian's thinking that the house knew what he was and reflected it just so.
He smirked as they walked up the stairs and around his home. He loved this place more than words could desrcribe. It was the only thing that ever gave Julian that type of feeling...Of love. Or something like it at least.
It was made in the image of the time period where he deemed he belonged. He was a child of the Victorian Era and he had not even been born in it. It didn't matter.
He turned his attention back to her, back to this girl and thought of the many things he could do to her. He thought about how he had to torture until she passed out but still let her live. This was going to make his night so much better. It had absolutely nothing to do with her though. She was just happened to be tonights victim, pity for her really.
She was speaking now, asking him if he lived here by himself and he answered politely "Yes I do...I have a ..friend who stays here every now and again, but this my home...I live here alone" he tried to sound sad and somber about this, he wanted her to trust him and feel bad for him.
When they reached his room, he smiled as she looked in got scared and walked back over to the stairs.
Time to drop the facade. "No actually, we should come right back here. "He smiled and walked slowly over to her grabbing her by the arm and dragged her back to the room shutting and closing the door behind him and he sighed.
"Sorry...This has nothing to do with you..you were here and now...well...I'm pretty sure you know what's gonna happen"he grinned he turned and locked the door and flipped on the light, revealing several instruments of torture. Now, What to use first?

Something was very, very wrong.
Lightning had first felt it when she had stepped into the house; maybe even before that. Her instincts had warned her -- yet she ignored them. Brushed them off, dismissing them as nothing but the last twinges of depression. You see, she needed a change. In the past, her attitude had led her to nothing but trouble. So, the fledgling had decided to opt for a change of character, apparently giving the whole, 'nice girl' shit a try. As she watched Adam walk towards her with a predator's smile etched across his face, she silently cursed herself.
It didn't work.
"No actually, we should come right back here."
He grabbed her arm, and began dragging her back toward the room she had just left, shutting the door behind them. She winced -- he was stronger than she'd anticipated. He let go, and she gently rubbed her arm, narrowed eyes silently watching; waiting. So what was this going to be? Was this going to be her downfall? She hoped not. As nice as this house may be, Lightning had better plans for her hopefully, much later death. Adam turned and locked the door, the sound much louder than it should have been. Suddenly wary of how bad her situation was, she kept a close eye on the door, whilst taking a step back. She wanted as much space between herself and this weird little fuck.
"Sorry...This has nothing to do with you..you were here and now...well...I'm pretty sure you know what's gonna happen." He spoke softly, a sly, twisted grin tugging at his lips.
Confused, she took another small, calculated step back. Awkwardly enough, Lightning didn't know what was going to happen. She had an idea -- and yes, it included pain. Lot's of it -- but that didn't mean it would happen for sure. Not wanting to aggravate the man, she gave a nervous smile, before speaking; her own voice soft and innocent. "Um. Sorry, but I really do--"
Flick.
Light.
Sentence cut short, her mouth dropped. Wide, unbelieving cerulean eyes taking in the contents of the room.
So this was what he meant.
Surrounding the duo, were all kinds of instruments of torture, hanging on the walls; displayed as if they were trophies, proudly presented in a twisted, gruesome way. She felt sick. Was he going to torture her?
Mouth still gaping, she shook her head, in denial. This couldn't be happening. This was some sort of a joke, right? A stupid, fledgling joke? Lightning glanced at Adam's eyes; blue against blue. Just one look, and she knew that this was no game -- he wasn't playing around. She drew in a sharp intake of breathe; a poor attempt to steady nerves. She narrowed her eyes. If he was serious, then so was she.
"You can't be serious," she scoffed, one sculpted brow raised. "What is this, the seventh Saw movie? Who do you think you are? The fucking Jigsaw? What should i expect; live or die, make your fucking choice?" She spat, mocking in her tone. The forced anger she had began with was slowly fading away to nothing but true, real outrage. But as vexed as she was, Lightning still couldn't forget that she was in a tight situation. Slowly, she began to creep towards the door in a slow fashion, hoping that Adam would follow her footsteps, completing a whole circle of movement. If she got lucky, and the timing was right, she'd unlock the door (somehow; she still hadn't figured out how. She'd get to that part later) and make a run for it. A sneer in place, she carried on, taking minute steps towards the only escape route.
"You could've at least done this shit better. You just look like some pathetic, hard-core Saw fan who has no fucking life." She changed the glare to a look of pity; even sighing for a better effect. "Tell you what. Why don't you go out, get yourself checked into the nearest asylum, have wet dreams about fucking John Kramer, and then maybe even go kill yourself. Then we'll be happy. Ok?"
She smirked.
No miss nice girl any more.
