I have a song that I sang in choir last march...december about May Day I guess so, here it is, don't ask me why we sang that song in december, i think it was cuz it was easy Song is sung a capella and Thomas Morley composed it I guess, idk
Lyrics Now is the month of Maying When merry lads are playing
Fa lala la la la la la la la fa la la la la la la
Each with his bonny lass A dancing on the grass *repeat Fa lala's*
Fie, then, why sit we musing Youth's sweet delight refusing *repeat falala's*
The Spring, clad all in gladness, Doth laugh at Winter's sadness *repeat falalas AGAIN (seeing a pattern here?)*
And to the bagpipes sound The nymphs tread out their ground *Falala's*
Fie, then, why sit we musing, Youth's sweet delight refusing? Fa la la la la la la la la la fa la la la la la la
*END SONG*
See? May Day!
