what happens when a fledgling arrives at the house of night claiming to be born of an immortal? what happens when that immortal just so happens to be a goddess? it is obvious that she is different from the regular fledglings, her tattoos and affinities are rare, and she has strange markings. soon after the new girl arrives, a new species of fledgling follows in her steps, loyal to the goddess she speaks of. the goddess is a rumored companion to nyx, an ally. but can this be true? there is tension at the house of night, as some of the blue and red fledglings don't like the new breed. the new fledglings carry themselves with confidence, and are not willing to back down in a confrontation. other than all of this, neferet, the white bull and kalona are all no where to be found, but it is obvious that neferet is planning something. you can pick a side, white or black, but there is no gray, no in between. welcome to the circus.
